A good thing to do is save your missles, and save some health. before Ballos changes to his third form, you get stabbed by the bottom spears(taking a low damage) and jump into one of the eyes. After the entire thing is done, and you can attack it, unleash your savage fury.

I took the PSAT this morning. Of course, it won't count for much this year in my case because of several different reasons, but it was nice to miss roughly half of my classes.

I guess you are a sophomore right now? You should really try to get a great score next year when it counts. Colleges will pay an arm and a leg if you can qualify form NMSQT. I just missed the cut- I got "Commended Student" or whatnot. Luckily, I have a good enough GPA and ACT to qualify for full tuition/board/plus, so it's not big, but hey- any help counts.

Got to Ballos' final form. Had 40 health. Got on to the eye. Ran out of missiles. Died. If I would have had only 4 or 5 more missiles...

EDIT: GOT IT!!! Woot!

Hey, did anyone notice this thread doesn't have a tag? There's a "Lounge" tag defined, but it isn't used.

That is strange. I never noticed that before.

Alestance: No Nikamaru Counter for me. icon_frown.gif Very nice run nonetheless, I usually take Sacred Grounds at a reasonable, laid-back pace.

How about the guy who does it in under 5 minutes, using only the polar star, fireball, and blade, without getting hit once?

Recently I had a look at the backup of my first quest project, Liberation of Skanteron, I see it's not much changed much since it's last edit (On my dead computer), but, when looking though the quest itself I had a sudden moment of realization.
I realized how unorganized, badly desinged, and cramped it is. I don't know, it seems like repairing it would be absolutely pointless.
But that's not going to stop me from making Liberation of Skanteron.
I've decided that I'm going to recreate it in a new qst file, while using the old one as the blue prints for building it.
And I'm not exaclty going to be making the game itself, it will basically be a preparation for when I'm actually ready to make it. (Which will be after I finish The Underworld)
Anyways, it will use the Adventure Tileset as it's base tileset, and it will be using extra tiles and palletes from the Evil Tileset V2, and of coarse some other miscellaneous tiles and palletes from other tilesets. icon_rolleyes.gif

In other news, I'm finally using the PZC Lounge. IT'S ABOUT TIME! icon_nerd.gif

This news has probably reached the last corner of the net already, but ... the Mother 3 translation patch is out! One or two hours into the game, it looks as if it's going to be every bit as legendary as its predecessor.

I just love the humour like when Lucas gets told by his dad "Imagine something called a B button."

I love it too! I especially like when Alec turns to the screen and says "You, the one playing them game, to save, talk to the frogs. I have to get back to the story now." And he runs off. Okay, I butchered the quote, but you get the idea.

I have not quite duplicated Happyman's old one, but I have managed to craft my own semi-decent random sentence generator.

I've been working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for ... a week, now. And I've got ... well, not a terribly substantial little site going, but, it all works.

So this is what this thread is...thought it was something else...
Anyways, I spent three and a half (somewhat frustrating) hours teaching a friend of mine how to use 2.10's Zquest. I had him use the original Pure tileset as a basis. He still has trouble, but he might join Pure if he gets the hang of it (maybe...) icon_shrug.gif
And Noir, what does "defenestrated" mean?

Ever heard of the important historical incident known as the Prague Defenestration? It occurred in 1618 and helped start the thirty years war.

Wow. A war stated because two guys got thrown out of a window. Strange.
