Well, I know how hard ripples can be, yeah. I took a class where you basically "draw what you saw", using models like a cloth hanging from the wall, a couple bottles, a plant, or your face in a mirror. I guess after drawing those enough, you start to know what to expect from imaginary stuff.

How do all you people learn how to draw ripples in clothing? Does it just come naturally?

Its easy, it goes from a dark shade to a very light shade to the regular shade.

I'm throwing my hat into the ring of trying to create a webcomic, and this is what I have so far. It's the best job I've done so far at it, though I'm starting to get annoyed at how I can't seem to get any feedback from anywhere, though I do have 1... maybe 2 people who have been checking up on it, which is kinda cool. Well... Here's some of my works... No colors.... I used about 30-60 secs on the outlines, but more on the extreme detail. They're all drawn by hand, without looking at anything else than what I actually drawed. That means I didn't copy them from any other stuff. They're illustrations for my book, and are COMPLETLEY from my mind:

WOW! The detail in that first one! Great! And don't worry about the english. Just keep trying and you'll learn more and more. Just like me. I'm norwegian and when I firs came here, people got annoyed(Sephiroth) because I didn't capitalize ''I''. I still need some training, but I think I've gotten far. Nize drawings though. Keep up the good work!
