Thanks, found the statue desert, that was one of the few places I hadn't gone back to.

I had a feeling not many people would go back to that part of the Great Bay again, that's why I deliberately put Level 5 in that area.

Really enjoying the game so far, I'll wait until I finish to rate it though. I'm now searching around Level 7. I think the difficulty curve is pretty good so far. Here's something I noticed that may or may not be a bug:

My god, did I seriously miss all this... there are about 3 bugs like that so far. Don't worry I'll get on to fixing that.

Gotta fix 'em all!

Is it possible to use the keys in Level 8 out of order?
I seem to be short either a key or the Shield.

I had used 2 of the keys on the path to the compass and run into a Mirror Wizzrobe.
I'm pretty sure I have looked everywhere.

EDIT: Well. Now I have a pretty Red Jewel, still looking for a key.

Since you got that Red Jewel I guess you don't need the Mirror Shield location. icon_smile.gif You can use that pretty Red Jewel on the red blocks. You have to stand in just the right spot.

No Red Blocks that I can find in the dungeon. Just green and white.
Red Blocks out in the Overworld? Wait...Nope, don't see any on the Overworld map.

Still looking for that missing key, too.

Have you checked the upper area of Level 8? There are 2 spots where there are red blocks and you need to use the Din's Fire (Red Jewel).

I can't get to the upper area. I only have one key, and there are two locked doors, in the south east corner.
I have found only 3 keys in the lower part and used 2 of them.

I had guessed that the passage to the upper part of the dungeon is there, behind the second locked door.
If there is another way to the upper parts, I haven't been able to find it.

That's why I was asking if it was possible to use the keys out of order.

Hello, friend V.
Yes, I am at Level 8 in about that amount of time. Little more than 7 hours.
Is an Eddy quest. You play his quests before, so you know how he make them.
Dungeons not too hard, just that enemies don't stay dead.

There's only one passageway in Level 8. If you got the Mirror Shield, you can go straight up from the enterance and reflect the beams onto the blue blocks, there is one more key. And no, you can't use the keys out of order.

Okay. 4 keys in the south part of the Level, right?
I'll continue looking for that key, but I won't be upset if you offered a small hint about it's location. icon_razz.gif

And, no, I don't have the Shield yet.

I thought you had the Mirror Shield already because you can't get Din's Fire unless you have the Mirror Shield. In post#19 you said you "Well. Now I have a pretty Red Jewel" I took take as being the Din's Fire. Sorry! I guess I misunderstood. icon_sorry.gif What Red Jewel were you talking about then?

I remember you do have to kill enemies for some keys. There was a key to the left of where the guy whats food and from the entrance go left, left, left, down, right then you have to kill enemy for key. I only remember those two. Those were at the beginning. Did you get them?

No, you didn't misunderstand. I have Din's Fire, the pretty Red Jewel.
I used the Fire Boomerang to reflect the fire balls back to the blue blocks, just like I used the Boomerang to reflect the Mirror
Wizzrobe's fire back at him and kill him to get the Jewel.

I wonder if, because I did this without the Shield, I did use keys out of order, contrary to what Eddy says.

Yes, got those 2. The third is 2 up from the entrance and 2 left then up.
Those are the only 3 keys I can find.

AHH! That makes sense. I've done that in other quest myself with the Fire Boomerang. That might be what is wrong though. Because two of the keys you get in the beginning unlock doors that lead up to the upper left side of the dungeon and the Mirror Shield. I believe that is all the keys in the beginning you can get.

I haven't come across a Master Key yet. I'm in level 9 doing it slowly.
