I think it's wise to show an example of how the rating system works on this new database.
If you want to test it out, the pinned threads in Quests and Tilesets are rateable. Speaking of examples, I think that's exactly what said pinned threads are for... The basic gist of the forum is fairly obvious: Submit your quest or tileset into the dropbox, a database manager (currently said managers are me and Migokalle) will verify the files to be sure they work in the proper build, then when enough time has passed and there are enough submissions, we will post them in the respective forum and update the Updates thread. Just make sure you read over the pinned topics and you'll be fine. And remember: No more than ten screenshots per submission.
EDIT: Err, guess they're not rateable after all. Well, I guess you might just have to wait for the first update then.

Will this database be fully implemented into the site (like the 1.90, 1.92, and 2.10 quests are handled) upon the release of 2.5, or will this be the permanent solution?
That's a road that we can cross when that time comes. To get it onto the main database at that point, we might have to end up asking those who have items in the 2.5 database to submit to the main one by then, provided it works properly in the official stable release. Right how, who knows which ones will or won't.

Derp. I saw this just after submitting my tileset to the database, thinking this thread was giving the ok to do so. Promptly ignore the submission to the actual database, but please do post the thread version one I sent.

QUOTE
We will not accept anything from an out-of-date 2.11 beta.
Where do the not-outdated builds begin? Is 1266 okay?Another question: What if a submission is over a year old? I think that nobody would use the right build then
Other another question: Is there a difference between saying "2.11 beta" and "2.5 beta"?
My guess would be builds that are maybe 100 versions in the past?

Matter of fact, I have just finished the first update. It's smaller than I had expected, but come on folks, let's get this database filled up! 0 user(s) are reading this topic
