Hi Schoochie! This is a pretty clever quest with unusual techniques that I've never seen before.

Chief: I found the fire boomer, following your directions until I reached the maze-loop "situation." The solution to the maze: From the beginning maze room, go right, down, left, left, down, down, push the blocks, and go down. ta-da! icon_smile.gif

And the "green thing" ring is definitely the magic book.

Okay, WHERE is the silver arrow? Thanks!

(Found it in the Royal Chambers)

Thanks, folks, for the nice welcome! I'll try to keep up, but I'm not optimistic given this game's extreme difficulty level, at least. for me...

Arieltap....did you get the last key , then the boss key and then the boss in the barracks?? HOWEVER, get the bow in the Royal Chamber...when you first walk in , you see some stairs....unlock the path to them to the right...up on the roof ..arrows in first cave/door....check out the others up on the roof! icon_lol.gif

I can help you with keys in the royal chamber if you need some help. Also 12 hearts = level 3 sword

Arieltap, once you get the flippers, you can swim in the overworld to get another HCP and another goodie.

Thanks, guys! But now that I'm bigger, smaller, faster, and stronger, I'm finding a lot of the stuff I need to progress. Got my first BIG key and opened the first door in the tower for a look-see. icon_king.gif

LOL forgot all about the blue and red suits....I was going GREEN! Maybe PC but undesirable for this mofo!!

This is a fun, tight little romp with some custom bosses to boot!! ( I got all 4 keys...off to the Tower!)

PEACE HAS RETURNED TO THE VALLEY!!! If anyone needs help, I'll continue to check it....

ON ANOTHER NOTE, I'M GOING TO GO BACK TO "LEGENDS OF ROMANIA: KAMALA'S TOMB" I remember playing around with it and getting pretty fAR....one good thing is that, I understand, it runs on the Lost Isle build....I think Scootchie has played it, but Arieltap, you might want to give it a look see...there is a download page over at Armageddon but here is an up to date link in this forum

Auf wiedersehen!

Hi Chief! I already played Legends of Romia: Kamala's Tomb. Excellent quest. Good luck! I'm currently looking at all Pure Tileset quests. I like the look. I think I've played a bazillion quests since I first joined. I prefer the all-out full-tilt immersion method of playing (people and dogs around me aren't particularly taken with this method, however.. random cussing and throwing things, interspersed with elated aha moments...No one has been injured, though icon_rolleyes.gif )

addendum: Finished Dungeon Link!

about to play: Double Vision by Mr. Z, if you guys want to join me.

See ya!

hahaha I'm sure I'll still be doing this for quite a while with Dungeon Link, so have fun with your next quest, arieltap!

I'm busy with Master Quest Chapter One (Pikachu's quest ) Reminds me a lot of C-Dawgs Dreams of Yesterday...pretty challenging but not quite to the level of Armageddon Forever but close!

Hi guys, sorry i have been of no help for the last threads but i stop checking so often the thread if there are few messages. For any new player of the game, this thread will still be active and ill try to check it more often.

Seems the difficulty of the quest is harder than i measured, especially at the beginning, but you must know that it´s not a common quest and if you don`t advance each level paralel you`ll find it extremely hard to advance. Tell me if you need a walkhrough, although i tried to make the quest the most logical and rational so you don´t need it.

Just wanted to note that I'm playing this quest currently and greatly enjoying it. Once I figured out the nonlinearity - there's a LOT to be said for leaving the dungeon you're currently exploring as soon as you find a Heart Container - I started having a blast.

Currently trying to build up HCs so I can get the level 3 sword. I've found four items per dungeon and just claimed the Red Mail, so I think I'm pretty far along. Though I haven't yet found a second HC-carrying-boss in the Royal Chambers, despite finding the Map and, as far as I can tell, visiting every square accessible except the "final" boss. Will keep trying though!

Anyone else currently playing this quest?

On the contrary, the 2 secondary bosses on the Royal Chambers are quite special, cause you can get to them without the need of any key or item. The problem is you´ll need some specific item to fight them (you can guess which 2 types of enemies they are by that information).

Which I just recently discovered was my problem - I'd found one much earlier, had to warp out because I didn't have the right item, and then forgot to go back later because my map was already "filled out" in that area. But I've since fixed that. icon_wink.gif

And completed the quest! Whew, some intense fights towards the end. Very nicely done.

Will this play fine with the 254 build that I used to play Kamala's Tomb? I still have that player on my machine. Because from reading this thread I'm quite intruiged.

Also, since it was mentioned, does anyone know if the bugfix of Dreams of Yesterday still being worked on? Brilliant as it was, I had to quit that quest because I just couldn't deal with all the continue bugs.
