And yes, that is originally from Chrono Trigger (awesome game), but that was in MMDWR tileset.

Those are my edits of both palm tree's to merge the two styles together. The small palm has the shading of the FSA palm, while the FSA palm uses the top of the small one. Feel free to use everyone.

Nope, it doesn't.
The problem is that the small one doesn't fit with DoR at all.
It's a combination of the top and base then, obviously.

I think it is just the perspective of the small one. The basic shape can be exactly the same, just with perhaps an altered perspective on the shading? And I am working on a different base for the small one that looks the same as the FSA. If I ever get it looking perfect, I'll submit it to the database.
