Thanks everyone for advice on v2.10 not responding. I'm playing in a different version of Zelda (Build 756) hopefully it will work.

Lost Woods...what is going on with these woods...I'm not going anywhere. I found the hint on getting the extra coins but I can't go any further. obake-san, are there anymore hints out there.

I had the same problem. The only way I was able to figure it out was to look at obake-san readme that he posted on his website.

along the farthest southern point, theres an arrow pointing left. if you just keep going left from there, youll make it to the southwest corner. theres an info shop (same place as in zelda 1) there that will give you exact directions and a hint as to where you should start out.

Removed the Lost Woods directions since they're been corrected ingame.

Finished the quest, liked it a lot. Took me 18:43 to finish. icon_smile.gif

i really dont understand why you went through the trouble of writing all of that out for the lost woods. there is a reason i made the walkthrough, and there is a complete map of the lost woods, with the maze paths plus arrows leading what screens you should be going through, and a list of the directions to get from one point to the other.

however, you guys are right, there was no hint as to where to go. the old lady in the info shop in the far bottom left should have told you exactly how to get where you are going, but due to some string changes i must have overlooked fixing the info shops.

in order to fix this problem, i have updated the quest to v0.81
and the new version is available on the main page of the walkthrough website. i have also submitted the new version so it should be in the next update. sorry guys

I passed the lost woods and have cleared the death mountain pass and am on my way to Ruto. I must say I am impressed with this quest so far. I like the fact that it is very large, and yet you can still warp to just about anywhere without too many steps.

The magic of Scheherazade music! Wow, haven't heard that game in a long time! I still own the original cartridge! Goonies 2 music! Sometimes I just wanna go back to that area just to hear that music all over again. I'm surprised you didn't put any Bayou Billy music in the swamp areas... that would be fitting.

not sure what happened there sasja, but its fixed now. somehow the filename changed to caps. i looked through and there was a dungeon that had the same thing happen. everything seems to work on the walkthrough now.

Good quest so far, obake-san already on Level-7. I have a question. On your website, how did you create the maps? Just asking BTW

heh, that was a painful process of screenshots. what i did was i made a copy of the quest and changed all the dungeons into overworld, that way i could use the space key to see a map. after going on every screen i took screenshots at .5x (in zc, not the printscreen key), and carefully pieced the screenshots together to make the complete maps of each level. then i added all of the items, which i used similar screenshots to collect onto another bmp. finally i added the doors, which i just kind of made up as i went along. i still have bmps of each stage in the development, which i kept in case something was wrong (and sure enough there was). i kept them in bmp format because that doesnt blur the pixels together. once i had the complete map done, i saved a copy as a jpg. for the overworld maps, i did the exact same thing except at .25x. yes this did take forever to do.

I have completed 7 and am now attempting to get the master key... whoa... deathknights! First time seeing these guys!

I seemed to have missed the 3rd fairy trial dungeon... where is it?
I do have the raft now.

in the central overworld map, its in the southeast corner. in the gray raised up area of the lost hills there is an aboveground fairy spring. one screen left of that is a set of rocks you can push once you have the power glove.
