Actually, it uses 1 1/2 to 2 complete pages of combos on that single screen, many of those are "screen specific" combos, you just have to analyze it really closely to see that.

Looks like I've got some stiff competition here!

Well I guess I should critique every ones screen, so here goes:

CastChaos: The water looks kinda strange and the little tree tops on top of those tree-platforms look quite odd. Those little water spots look strange too. But otherwise its a good shot.

Darkspawn: Umm, I don't know where to start here. That head thing looks really odd and theres tons of perspective issues all over the place. Kinda strange idea too.

Majora's Wrath: This screen looks too cluttered. There are away to many of those small trees and it makes it look odd.

Nuvo: Good screen. I like the scaffolds and the screen layout. The waterfalls do look strange but I would've voted for it if I hadn't nulled.

Hey Majora, that tileset has floor tiles with grass overlay so try bordering the twisty trees with them so the grass and the floor tiles meet better.

Also, with those trees, see in the bottom left tile where the branch is black? There should be another combo that overlays on top of that one, but overhead.

Darkspawn: An ordinary screen topped with a nice rip. However, it looks strange in top view. Plus, what is Sigma there? A boss? In MMX5, you could hit only his mouth, but it would hard now to reach that part...

Evan the Great: Nice forest, I like everything there, especially the trees and the light.

Majora's Wrath: Unique tiles, okay.

Nuvo: Extreme nice wooden structure with eyepleasing palette. My only complaint is that the bridge part that leads from the north bridge to the south bridge looks vertical because players got used to that tile is a "mountain stairway", but in fact it is horizontal. Maybe you should use some kind of plank instead?


As for the comments on my screen...
Nuvo! That water isn't meant to be fully transparent! The depht and flowing speed of water enables it to be blue, plus I need to represent somehow that it's cold .
Somebody said that the minitrees look strange on the bush bed. Well, no u! It's my unique idea!
Some other said that the springs are strange. Well, they are needed from every point of view. Detail, story, etc...

Darkspawn, where did you rip the Sigma Tiles from?!

I have the feeling that the Sigma head uses 254 color mode. I found at least 13 colours with not distinguishing the very similar tones due to counting in the transition illusion (that makes the same colour look differently according to what colours are neighbouring it).

I'm also wondering from where it is. Of course, since MMX5 is basically 2D, taking a screenshot and ripping the tiles from it is surely possible...

Darkspawn's shot... The mountain palette is beautiful, in my opinion, but... Sigma ruins the whole thing.

Nuvo's shot has an absolutely beautiful palette, especially the water, and I also quite like how the bridges were done. It's got my vote.
