Why would ALttP Link need strafing with his shield? Or do you mean him charging his sword and being able to walk around? If at any rate, it sounds like you're making him more and more like GB Link. Please keep him the way he was meant to be.

Actually, I think it would be wise to be able to hold in a button (Other than the button assigned to the shield.) to be able to strafe while holding out the shield in front of you. Make it the player's choice, y'know?

but I didn't want him to select the shield on a button and not be able to use it, or not give the shield a button at all and have a messload of arguments to do. But the strafing is good for intense puzzle people (or I) may have.

Try ZC 3.0... it can do just about everything else and better once you know how to use it.
