Yeah, the frame is from The Minish Cap, but edited, obviously, being that the menu in tMC isn't 3x16 tiles. The hearts and buttons are custom though. And of course it's the same subscreen as my last entry; do you expect me to change it every week?

No, actually, just the opposite. Most quest designers will design one subscreen and stick with it, so putting too much emphasis on subscreens doesn't seem to make sense. After all, Ocarina of Time went through a large series of subscreen changes, and most people only commented on it as a way to determine gameplay.
Anyway, that's all I had to say on that. You've got a nice screen there. Reminds me a little bit of Hyrule Castle's courtyard in Minish Cap, for some reason.

That's because it isn't connected the way you think it is. Look very closely at it. Hard to explain.

Actually, I see what you guys are talking about, and it's not as difficult to explain as you may think...
The bottom of the "stairs door" tile is colored the same as the bottom stair. This doesn't match the appearance of the cave floor.
Since those stairs are used exclusively for caves, I can change it. After all, LTTP had some pretty ugly tile transitions in the original game, cave tiles included (my cave walls are actually heavily edited to begin with, not that anyone will ever notice)...

Radien's is also nice, but it is not as breathtaking compared to his other DoR shots. I mean, it is just a cave (no offense

) I have a suggestion though. If your C-set 9 will allow it, I'd make the "zora" Octoroks purple, or somethnig. Just to give them something different. I'm guessing those underwater rocks are producing shallow water? I also see what he means about the door to floor transition.

Well... yeah, it
is just a cave.

Gotta have some plain cave walls somewhere. I'll try to pick out a more interesting screen next time, though. This was, as Gashin mentioned, a last-minute entry on my part...
Hmm, purple Octoroks? Well, I
was planning on calling them "Pyroctos," or something, since they shoot fire instead of rocks... Yes, I could make them purple using DoR's CSet 9.

But they'd be dark purple. ...Actually, I can always use 8-bit mode. I just hope Dark Nation adds in an "Enemies flicker when damaged" rule, because right now, 8-bit enemy tiles have no flashing animation when damaged. Anyway, thanks for the feedback; you're the first to make that particular suggestion...
Yes, as I mentioned in a previous post, the underwater rocks are, in effect, shallow water.

It's a little weird that the octoroks standing on it can't "swim" in deep water... but then, they couldn't in Minish Cap, either...!
And lastly, for door comments, see above.
