Aaaaaaand people are already hating on the visuals while demanding boring, humdrum, 'realistic' graphics. I really don't know why people want video games to have visuals that match our own world's. Isn't one of the biggest reasons we play video games is to escape our world and see amazing sights that we can't see in real life?

LOL the Sony and Microsoft fanboys know they got destroyed with a bright colourful epic looking game trailer that only spans for 40 seconds.

The landscape looks empty at first but there's actually a lot of interesting structures in the background especially the weird platform on the right side with the wind turbine thing.
I think it's pretty obvious the game is set in the very distant past before Skyward Sword. This really makes me want a Wii U!

So ancient machinery will take a role in the story?

So hey. Those gloves.
Why do I think of the game Journey after seeing this artstyle?

Good to see that Link's crayfish-patterned pyjamas have been returned to him--but wait!
Where is the crayfish?
We ought to boycot Nintendo until Link gets his crayfish-pattern back.
EDIT: He's also right-handed. This is a personal affront to me and my culture.

Personally think the artstyle looks good, and better than WindWaker's IMO. Also, Link's hair looks nice, especially as that brown, but I wish it were like his original hair from Z1. I'd like to see that rendered in this kind of 3D.

I feel like it's a world set after the fall of some huge technologically advanced empire.I've always wished the Zelda timeline was a cycle. It may be...

Maybe someone (the villain) revived ancient robots and Link has found a piece of equipment he can use for items or his bow?
Also where is his sword? They didn't remove that... right?

They most likely removed it from the trailer because it looks too beastly. O.O

Shane, don't start with the "No sword?!" thing, like with that Skyward Sword poster.
