It is the palette you made for me a long time ago. I'm to lazy to search for the topic, but you can find it by searching, "Keiichi".

Aha, so that's why it looked familiar, well anyways, do you what me to improve the palette? I know a few areas where improvement is desperately needed. I'd be more then happy to do it. icon_smile.gif

Everything besides the browns (which came from Evile's "bright new" palette) are made by me. icon_smile.gif EDIT: Oh BTW, Keiichi, I changed the orange to a dried green yellow so that the brown tall grass can be that colour. icon_smile.gif

And if it's alright with Keiichi anyone can use it, credit will be nice. (For me and Evile!)

Okay after trying and then failing at the version Pure I tried, Purplemandown was nice and let me have the Pure Tile's he's been using.
And I want to say thank you for that Purplemandown!

It's honestly the same quality of your other pure shot. I feel if you made the mountains more jagged, less detail, and bloomed the repetitive single lines of graphics it would be much better

I pretty much agree with Marco. Nature doesn't really have straight shores and mountains like that...

You're getting better. Personally, those aren't great mountains either. Go to combo page 26(NOTE: he's got my tileset. I doubt that'll work on any other Pure-set), and use the ones in the 2nd and 3rd columns. Those are the good ones, as they have diagonals, and non-straight mountains can be good there.

Secondly, watch out with that sand. There are 3 sand graphics, and just like with grass to sand, changing sands without the right transition looks ugly.

Thirdly, there's too much solid detail, not enough walkable detail. Hit W and you'll see what I mean.

Fourthly, I can't believe I forgot to change the passive subscreen back. I've got to get a repaired version of that going. I gave you the version with the sword script subscreens, rendering the sword unselectable (unless you have it only settable as A) I bet I even left the sword script active too...

Anyhow, the first three are something you can fix. I'm gonna clean that up one of these days and release it, but for now, just look at the first 3. I'll get a functioning version of that tileset set up someday. icon_sweat.gif

That looks much better. Not really amazing, but a significant improvement.

You have an interesting layout at the bottom of the left mountain - at first I thought it was a tile error but then I realized it looked like an overhang. Try adding shadows if that's the case.
