As you see, I finished putting together the layout to my forest area (except for where it goes into where I need to revamp in the overworld) and got it quite filled out for having trees throughout (except at the bottom and the new screens at the top). Screen by screen I am quite happy with how it looks, and I think that people playing it will like it alot better than my previous attempts at overworld building (I'll take cues from what I did here and apply what I can to previously completed sections)
I hoped to have a few screens done for level 4 done to show as well, but I got stuck on the second screen as I decided that it was a "perfect" time to try adding in some water, which i didn't really think on planning ahead for so the way I wanted the water to be looks like crap, so I have to redo it already even though it took me a half hour just to get it looking partially decent... I think I'll make a few more screens first and backtrack in the water once I get the first little section completed (maybe where the first key or something is)
Other than that, to help with the cane/magic wand confusion that I had some people have, I edited the wand tiles to be more distinctive. It no longer has the looping part over the center gem, so it looks more "wand" like. The cane remains the same as it did, but now there should be no confusion over the two.
Oh, i should also mention that, in order to get to the pathway to level 4 (bottom of the forest) as well as the (to be built) swamp area, you need to find the hidden pathway and you need the candle to do so. So for those noticing the pathways don't match up, that is why.
What did you accomplish in ZC today?

Been working more on Mushroom Hill. If I haven't mentioned this already, this will be the first time in the quest where the time mechanic will be used quite frequently.

Making somewhat rapid progress on Mushroom Hill. I'm also working my way towards Restoration Wall (which will be modified in a hopefully interesting way.) Level 4 will soon be in the works...

Finally revived my project, Ganon's Resurrection after less than a year since the data was wiped out. I found it by searching for my leftovers and I found it. It wasn't the most recent version. Then, I found another updated copy in a help thread made over a year ago. This might mean the eventual return of my project. I have Dungeons 1-3 done from before. Looking back, the tile setup was A MESS. I hope to release the Forest Temple demo in a little while.

Progress is going quite smoothly with AR3. I finished the main area of Mushroom Hill and I've began work on Level 4. Even though the main area of Mushroom Hill is complete, the full area itself still isn't. The extra screens will have secrets and items in them when I begin finishing the area off completely at a later stage.

You can kinda see where this is going lol

I changed my username, started working on a dark room script, failed miserably, learned about bitmaps, and competely re-did a dungeon. Oh my, have I been busy.

I fixed up Lvls 1, 2 and 3 a bit more. Re-balancing some enemies in ToT too!

I'm starting the base on my western overworld in an unnamed project. It's based very loosely on BS Zelda maps 1 & 2, with significant differences.
If I can innovate and give it some detail, I shouldn't have problems with designing this quest.

I finished one of the area's in my level 10. And finished the layout of level 10. Its a lot more confusing to look at then it was to make. And level 10 is 128 screens.

I finished test playing Lvl1, Lvl2 and Lvl3 of ToT after re-balancing some enemies & adding to the dungeon designs a bit. Also got rid of my old rain & snow tiles because they didn't look very good....and replaced them with MUCH nicer looking rain and snow tiles. A big thanks to Xenix for supplying me the tiles!
Lvl4's Cset Dungeon palette was changed because the black and blue was ugly. It's now purple and I changed it's design for the better too.
Still adding to other levels and tweaking what were once OP enemies down to far more bearable. Balance WILL be restored! xD

Hopefully I can plan more of the story soon too. All of my ideas end up sucking usually. So it's hard because I'm so picky.
