I posted this in Post Your Maps, but I think it's relavent here as well as it shows my progress, what I've done for the past few days as well as what I am planning on doing (it also, I hope, shows my progress as a Map designer)

A full map to showcase what little I've done
No edits, so it's a huge empty map with some screens done.
Can you guess what I'm doing?

FireBSBird?
That's only part of it. I'm making the tileset (which is Thunderbird btw, after the AoL boss) for an actual quest.

Words cannot describe the amount of work and care that went into this screen.

I made a few more screens, started carving out the Great Swamp further, and framing it, as well as started making a dark-world version of the BS mountains.
No screenshots yet, and it's unlikely I'll get to use the BS DW Mountains anyway... Unless I make a Second Quest.

Looks like a pretty neat Eagle Dungeon remake. the top room with the key and the room below really should have some floor borders though.
I've began working on Mushroom Hill, the first area to make proper use of the time warping mechanic as you're gonna be doing quite a bit of time travelling to get to places. Soon enough I should be well on my way to starting Level 4.

Yeah, to be honest, this really my first time making a dungeon with borders. If you'll remember from my "Link's Vengeance" demo, none of the dungeons there had borders.
I've also been looking at dungeons from other quests and zelda games. I've been trying to figure out how to make a dungeon that isn't too linear.

Yeah I definitely remember that. It's good to see that you are getting used to dungeon borders though.

Now that is looking really neat. I love how you made the starting are more of a mazey box room. Nice job.

It's a concept from my Link's vengeance quest that I'm trying to make work here. Also, I'm cranking out dungeons really fast. I need to do some work on the overworld...
Level 3: Skull Woods (How do I do spoilers?!)
