Does not work, tried killing both eyes, still looping without shooting those vertical lasers and increasing danmaku.

As for instant-kill traps at top floor of ToH, what about Increasing damage from 32 to 9999 hearts? To ensure instant death even with all 33 hearts. There is wizard in combo editor to allow this in 2.55 version.

Tested in 2.55.7 and worked for me. You need to hit his eyes with the slingshot. Also it's 4 times you need to kill it's hands. 

It will make a hit sound effect when you hit one of the eyes, then you will know it hit one. Cheat is "4" if you want to make sure killing stuff works right.

Thanks for confirming that you need to hit BOTH eyes with separate shots. Will try again. Does having all 33 hearts allowing surviving one touch of these traps at the top floor of Tower of Heavens a legitimate reward, or it`s design oversight that needs to be fixed by reworking FFCs to warp Link into inescapable death room with everything banned?

Thanks for confirming that you need to hit BOTH eyes with separate shots. Will try again. Does having all 33 hearts allowing surviving one touch of these traps at the top floor of Tower of Heavens a legitimate reward, or it`s design oversight that needs to be fixed by reworking FFCs to warp Link into inescapable death room with everything banned?

I knew it was there but no way to make the combo do more then 32 hearts of damage in 2.53. Will be updating the 2.55 version to always one shot and make so damage combos do less damage on easier modes and rings.

I think those traps should be redesigned (GFX wise) to have really scary looking, for instance, like black holes with tentacles.  And think about players on keyboards with input lag when it comes with precision required. Maybe reducing speed by 0.05 - 0.1, unless beta-testers were good with parameters as is. Also buffing early game giant traps (1st appeared in Dream Gate) should make indication that they should be avoided at all costs, even if it results in falling into pit.

EDIT: I think, for instant-kills difficulty should affect movement speed, slower for Easy and faster on higher difficulties. I have seen many video games that fail to handle these cases, resulting in massive difficulty spikes on lower difficulties. In better cases such hazards are either slowed down,or removed entirely.

I need to know, how difficulty is handled technically in this quest. I can write FFC script that changes FFC speed depending on difficulty setting. Assuming you interested on it.

So on Easy, it would be massive difficulty spike, compared to previous tower floor, right?

Or replace traps with black holes that effectively reset challenge via warp. It`s quite annoying to sit throgh death animation then retrace until challenge room, considering lack of death penalty and the lack of anything interesting between continue spot and it. Especially annoying, considering precision required to beat those challenges.

Just see how Overhead did with Kaizo challenges - fast retries.

Speaking of fixing stuffs, i have planned on making an update which would fix the intro of the quest a little bit. Not only that, but i have planned to make a major update for the 2.55 version of Dreams Realm by adding new stuffs. I won't tell what it is yet. All i can say is that, i plan to modify some areas a little bit for adding more stuffs in. I have talked with TheRock a little bit of what i have planned in mind, and i hope you'll like what i have prepared for the 2.55 version of the quest. It'll take me sometimes to do it however, but while i'm at it, i'll try to see if there is anything that needed to be fixed. And i'll also remove the unused musics, and add new one for what i have planned to do.

Still have real trouble with final boss, it`s pretty much unwinnable and rupee draining DPS race without Hyper Slingshot. And boss rush is pretty much impossible to win, even on Easy, w/o L4 sword. No way to heal between fights and bosses are overtuned into DPS races with unavoidable randomnaku as mentioned earlier. By the time I get to 5th boss I had only 10-11 hearts left and both potions used. And I am guessing, attempt to beat final boss on Easy results in automatic bad ending with me getting called a weakling and L4 sword denied, as warned by book in the house. Any tips? 

Apparently beta testers are either real masters, or cheaters.

I beat the game on easy so you will still get the level 4 sword, so lower to easy mode then back to normal if you want.

I believe all you need for the true ending is the sword from the sacred realm, which is the level 3 sword. the boss rush actually gets way easier after the fifth or so boss because they stop being modified versions. I beat the whole game on normal mode, to beat the final boss I got the Hyper Slingshot from the boss rush.

I think it is highly possible in high difficulties. Though i don't think the same could be said in the No Damage difficulty mode. I'll try to modify the boss a little bit to make it easier. But i would still recommand the Hyper Slingshot, some potions to beat it more easier.

I beat the whole game on normal mode, to beat the final boss I got the Hyper Slingshot from the boss rush.

Tried boss rush at Normal, after 4h boss I always left with 3-6 hearts and both potions used. And 5th boss always finishes me off with L2 wizzrobe spam. 180 - 400 rupees down the drain. Have fun grinding with little to no hopes for success. Or sit through super long save loading downtime.

Checked bosses in editor, all buffed except 5th and 12th ones. Mostly HP buffed and more randomnaku.
