I'm just about to do the Alien Raid at the farm. I'll be doing that today, as well as doing a massive amount of mask hunting (after getting the hookshot) before doing the next two temples. I'm holding off on doing the wedding mask side quest until last I think as that's the most time consuming one. I'm also going to get one or two more bottles before doing the skulluta houses. Well... the first one as you need the Captain's Mask for the second one.
I'm also really happy that Goron Link's rolling seems to be alot easier to handle for the most part, which I noticed getting to Snowhead (I was finally able to continuously roll all the way from the narrow ledges to the temple entrance without falling 50 times) plus the Goron Races where alot easier to navigate and beat without taking away the challenge as the Gorons stay right on your heels the whole time still.
But yeah, I'll be doing mostly the mask hunting now then going to do the Great Bay Temple.

So I just now got Great Bay Temple done...going to try to find that Stone Mask, mainly because it's not where it used to be. But before I do, I'll be looking for heart pieces. So far I have 14 hearts and 14 masks. Kind of good, but wanting to get more. ![]()
Also, I HATED that Gyorg battle. The beginning part was fine...then once we got under water...it was so annoying!! The first time I went through it...the moon landed. (Mainly because I did the dungeon 100% and started it on the second day...) The second time I did get it, but it was just annoying. But at least I got through though.
So far, MM3D is "technically" my favorite Zelda game. In general, Majora's Mask has always been my favorite, but this new version is just epic! Annoyances and other bad things aside, the game itself is beautiful. I am really hype now to get through the Anju & Kafei quest...before I head to Stone Tower I will do that. ![]()
@Limebeer: Just to inform you, you don't "need" the Captains Mask for the house. It just helps you get a heart piece, and I even did it without the mask. It does help, but I don't usually need it. ![]()

haha, yeah, I know, but I like having it for it as I enjoy how the Skulfos act around it... plus less annoying when having it so you don't have to fight them when having it on.
I must also say, the Gormen Brothers Race is still hard as all hell... unless you use your Bow when racing them. Hit their horses with an arrow and they just sow down and stop right there and then, which is helpful at the end when you need more stamina for the horse
Next up, guarding the Milk Run back to town, getting the Circus Leaders Mask, then Stone Mask hunting... then hookshot. After that? Heart Piece hunting. I have sorely been neglecting them as I have only a few hearts...

I always thought the Gorman Bros. Race was easy...or maybe it's just I may get lucky of knowing how to keep my carrots and still stay in first.
Also, hope you know where the stone mask will be, because it's location changed, so don't expect it to be where it was in the N64 version! xD

yeah, i'll be hunting around for it! I'm just getting the scentmask now then will be looking for him (I'm assuming you'll need a blue potion still)

You actually never needed the blue potion. I always remember buying the red potion and it still works on him. That's at least for the 3DS, but I surely remember using red for the dude in the N64 version.
But I don't know, I may be wrong.

Psh, real men race the Gorman Brothers the right way! By managing stamina correctly and jumping over the fences, which they can't do. >.> <.<
Also the Gyorg fight, personally, I loved it. It was new and super fun, and not completely godawful like it used to be. Sure, it seems it's no longer possible to beat him with just regular Link (at least I think could in the original, never tried), but it's a hell of a better fight now. Still a touch challenging but fairly and funly so.

haha, I always thought you did.. though I haven't played it in so long I may have been either messing it up, or the blue potion works as well
Ah well, they are free with mushrooms ![]()
Damn, that stone mask hiding location was tricky... I won't spoil where it is but it's not anywhere where I thought it was, though the location is handy to get it in!
And yes you could beat Gyorg as regular link in the original. I believe that's how i usually beaten him in the Original.

Yeah, I actually had to look up where the Stone mask was to actually find it! xD I also didn't know you could beat Gyorg just as regular Link, I always beat as a Zora most of the time!
Also, does anyone else think Majora's Mask is the best Zelda game? ![]()

gah, that Gyorg battle was hard! Holy crap, he just liked eating me before I could feed him those bombs, or they would just explode on me -.- Luckily it's done and done now!

Agreed! xD
You wouldn't happen to remember if the Stock Pot Inn room key is needed for the Anju and Kafei quest, is it?

No, it's not. You don't need to worry about getting inside on the last 6 hours of the Final Day either, because everyone is gone and it's left unlocked (Unlike the 1st and 2nd nights). ![]()

Got all the Masks but the Giant's Mask now! I have the Mirror Shield now, and am in the Ikana Castle, though it is getting late, so I may have to continue before finishing the castle&Stone Tower Temple and getting the Fierce Deity mask on the moon ![]()
After that... Heart Piece hunting :/
Also, I think they did good switching when you get the Magic Upgrade and the Spin Attack Upgrade due to needing so much more magic earlier on...well, potentially atleast ![]()

Yeah I agree about the fairy switching. But it would of been interesting if they switched Great Bay's and Stone Tower's too! xD
I'm also just now at Stone Tower Temple, saved there and will beat the game tomorrow (Snow days FTW!). I plan on right some kind of review for the game...Anyways good night all!
