His chain-grabbing was ridiculous in Brawl. It was so deadly against many characters and was nearly impossible to escape. He was in the C+ Tier (Upper Mid) for a reason.

This could be interesting. I don't think they needed to change the grab controls being affected by your health percentage, though the edge grabbing priority meter could be interesting...

As much as I would like to believe Smash 4 has a chance of being a good competitive game, I think those will still be superior unfortunately.

Nintendo has cared little for the competitive scene in their games. Pokemon sort of became a fluke in that regard.

Eh, I've never cared much for the competitive scene. This is a development where I look at it, and I'm like, "Well, eh?" To each their own, I suppose. Smash Bros. has always been sort of nothing more than a "sit on the couch with friends" sort of game for me.

Looks to be another anti-competitive deal to me.
I'm pretty sure he is referring to the get-up attack that you do when pressing A on the ledge. It was affected by you being above or below 100%. In prior Smash games, when you were below 100%, you would do a quick get-up attack. When you were above 100%, you did a slower version.
