I plan on making the finishing touches, then starting the path to the first dungeon sometime this weekend.

Started on the mounted Darknut as a custom boss. Graphically, it's coming along nicely (used AoL version as a base, converting to pseudo-3D as needed). If I can get this to work, it will use the now-working-but-still-buggy downward stab technique to get him off his horse, and then he'll turn into a death knight, so, yikes! Alternately, if I can get the epona script to make Link's sword show up, you can use Epona to joust him off the horse. That's still in the works...
Figured out how to have more fun with my Helm Horrors- When you first knock the Helmet off, the Armor section drops the really big sword (actually, plops an FFC where it is currently standing) and starts running around randomly. When the Helmet part turns back into a Helm Horror, if it goes to where the layer FFC is, it picks up the sword and starts using it again. And the best part is... it actually works! Yay for blind luck and accidentally successful scripting! And, if you have more than one Helm Horror on the screen, any Helm Horror that goes over to it picks it up! So, there's still only one sword per screen, but any of them can use it.
Still looking for some decent 'fog' or 'mist' effects for my swamp area. I have a script that will only draw layers 5 and 6 if you are actually on the correct DMap (you can see the swamp from an upper ledge above, but you are on a different DMap at that point. You have to come at the screen from the bottom to actually be in the swamp). It works- while on the upper ledge, the swamp below is covered in thick (but ugly) mist obscuring your vision. From below, the whole screen is covered with the same thick (ugly) mist, but it is transparent instead. I just need some better effects.
Finished working up an optional quest you can do, to be rewarded with a terrible pun that some people might not even get. It involves Lynels, and capturing people in Crystals ala the princesses from LttP. Hmm... perhaps a custom boss to go with this...

- The bridge to the Forest and Hyrule Field is down.
- The workers first work on the bridge that leads to the Forest.
- Before it's fixed Link has to do jobs in the village sort of like in TP.
- Link will do a mini-dungeon of some sort.
- The bridge to the Forest is fixed and the one to Hyrule Field is now being fixed.
- You have to finish Level 1 in order to get to Hyrule Field.
A left out a huge gap witch contain bits of the storyline etc. And don't worry it will be awhile before reaching Level 1.

Sounds a bunch like, TP, M_K! Sounds great!
Thanks! I'll ensure you Timbersin Village will play out like how TP's Ordon Village did. I got all the jobs for Link planned out such as a mini-trading sequence in order for Link to buy that Slingshot he wanted for free. And also a little mini-game for the slingshot (and bow too later on (the game owner said he upgraded the game while Link was out and about on his quest.).) too. And also half way he gets a wooden sword but then he has to give it up (that's when the villain shows up.) and later on get's a steel sword. So yeah all I have to do now is pull it off and then maybe a demo
EDIT: Did I mention you see alot of wood
