The step ladder is located in the ice version of the water temple located in dark world. Just find your way through the ice maze.

As in the past I was playing this quest and remember using to many players and all was buggy!!
today I'm replaying with the recommended players (550) and still got the same bug at level 2
that big rose on the floor , when bombed must leave a hole so I can jump down
Is no happening -- any other build that works in here?
what's the item on level 2 ?
any hint walking the maze at level 3 ??
thanks

I abandoned Zeldaclassic 2.10 (beta 550) and upgraded the quest to Zeldaclassic 2.5 build 18.

As for level 3. There is no escape to the maze. To solve the "angels face south-west" riddle, think opposites. There is a demon statue with 4 bushes. Think opposite.

The frozen lanmolas (which everyone calls a flower for some reason is bombable) I fixed the known bug.

Are there any super bombs playing on this quest"

mmm...! I may have the old version of this game, since I bomb that flower and don't open the hole on the floor!
where I get the updated version for this quest??
-
Also thanks for the arrow hints!!!

What caused this error was that this graphic used layers, but each tile had it's own combo attached with the floor set as the result. I don't remember why. Secret combos were also set to display a hole. In Zeldaclassic 2.10 beta 550 it did not use the floor combo, only the secret combo used in the layer. But when they upgraded the program, combos got more complex. Tile combos seemed to override secret combos, so I had to remove the tile combos entirely, which ironically lead to the same desired result of having a hole.
This lead me to abandon the use of tile combos from the quest.
Sorry if that sounds too technical. Lol

The new beta build ... Rc-2 (1401) ... blow the flower and open the whole , so I can jump down already
beat this level already.. the only item was the bomb ??
did conquer all levels at light world and opened the dark world , in there beat the real level 1
Got fire boomer from there --- any hint to go level 2 ? ,,(on the dark world)
My website has all the right updates.

It's a well known bug with that beta.
Try using beta 18.
