How do I get past the first four rooms in Level 7? This game can be difficult since if you don't bomb or whistle in exactly the right spot, it doesn't work. Maybe some more hints in the rooms as to where to whistle or bomb would help.

edit - Once again, after posting, I was able to find my way with a bomb in the second room. I know I bombed in that spot before, but must not have been on the exact spot...

All of the whistle spots are always on a patch of floor that separates the pattern from the rest of the floor. Usually lined with a border.
Unfortunately the bombing spots are picky in ZC. I have yet to find an easy way around that when using a cave type dmap.

I'm stuck in L8. I got silver arrow and unlocked a block in the northeast of the 1st floor, but need to unlock one more. In the exact same room, there's an overhead wall section but I can't go through.

With the silver arrow, I could unlock two spike areas, one gave a key, other gave the route to the northeast part of the 1st floor where I'm stuck now.


I must tell, Rocksfan, the way how I got the key to the silver arrow was crazy. I was using random items everywhere then suddenly a stairway appeared below me...

It was the whistle. In the bottom right corner room.

So, you've unlocked the block to the stairs going up? And you can't get through the wall?

No, I said I'm missing a key. I need to unlock the block leading to the stairs. I guess that wall becomes a walk tru wall as soon as I unlock that block. But first I need the second of those keys that require the silver arrow. One was close to where I got the silver arrow. Second is...?

The one key that you got that required the arrow, if you got it from a chest, you passed right by one you dive for.

I'm now in L9 and can't do anything worthvile after clearing the backdoor. On the east side, the farthest I can go is that "many things to do" room with a lever blocked in the upper right corner and a slashable statue. On the right, I can go only until I need the hammer. I know that I need to use din's fire at east. That dark room with slashable pots revealing spikes is fishy, especially at the 3x3 pot area. I can't do anything in the room that has only a lever and nothing else interesting.

You want to start on the East side first.

Go left from the start room and follow that around, you'll eventually reach the top floor.
You need the boomerang before you can continue on the West side. Each side will alternate.

Entering the east side and going left? Oh yes, that was what I forgot to mention, I don't know how to go through that gap.

The gap with the Pol's Voice, use wand on crystal.
the gap with the Goryias, hookshot the corner of the walls.

Still east part, I arrived to a room with a locked door, gap and a closed eye statue in the upper right corner. I absolutely don't know what to do there. Reveal a bridge with some secret? Or I should have found a key...?

Ok. I had assumed you had gotten the key from the other direction. Go back to the start room and go up. When you come to a room with a wide patch in the middle (used to have 10 rupees in it), look to the right wall behind a pot.

That closed eye statue you see takes the flame arrow.

Nice, I'm now at the room that has the door with the "up" sign. However it's locked. I guess the key is in the previous room with the two switches and some pots. However, there hardly exist anything that I haven't tried there...

Not quite.
Remember the room that got you a key for the first door? There is a similar one you passed with a pot in front of a crack that you walked by on your way to this room.

Keep on eye open for a few of those in this last level.
