In level 3... there's a key in the fake water room.. do you need the ladder to get that one? I found 6 keys and only 5 locks, so I brought the extra key to Level MAX and got an extra HC!

I was also able to miracously get the wallet out of the forest restaurant.

well done for the extra HC in level max, i did the same. don't forget the mini games, too. there are 3 (one you need nothing, the other you need the bow, and the other you need the power bracelet and the magical boomrang)

i think the thing to do in the last room is to stay at the entrance at go out when vires come closer... it helps a lot i think
anyway, congrat but keep in my you'll have to redo this once more but differently icon_wink.gif

yes you need the ladder since you can't push a block on something solid, so you'll need to push that invisible block on the tiles.

maybe you didn't open the 2 locked door in front of the entrance in armos ruins. in forever version those door can be avoided easily (with bombable walls) but in the original it's a great help (for life and time)

I opened all the doors in the Armos Ruins. There is an extra key in the Gamble dungeon. I also have that key from the Forest Restaurant.

I completed the running mini-game, and the shooting one is really hard. Though it would help having 16 hearts in Level 4. The boomerang mini-game... X_X

the arrow mini game is not really difficult. for the first targets you don't need to redo all the turn, just walk in the opposite way. Also keep in mind that you don't need to be exactly in front of the target, you can be half in front.

The boomerang mini game need the power bracelet to be reached (240rupees). You'll need to exploit a ZC bug to reach all targets.

Yeah I don't know how to reach those last 4 boomerang targets... I've finally gotten back up to Level 5. The shooting game was more forgiving with the bow upgrade.

there is something to do with the timing of the direction key and the b button... i can't really explain how this works

With the bow upgrade, the arrows fly way faster, so it gives you an extra split second which sometimes makes the difference.

I'm stuck in level 5... the invisible half. I got up to the room that resembles the bat/digdogger kid/trap room. There's just so much going on in that room XD. I'm sure there's even tougher ones after that...

yes this one is insane... my strategy is to throw the boomerang randomly and to see if something stop. if yes it's the digdogger kid, and i use a bomb to kill it. also i always go to the upper-right corner to avoid traps
you can also shoot randomly silver arrows to clean to room from bats and then you can see better the digdogger. when the room is cleaned from bats use ESC to freeze to game and try to see something.

this room is insane but yes other very insane rooms are after this one : the bat wizzrobe is one of the worst... and the red wizzrobe + wind wizzrobe is a pain in the neck to clear. I never could pass this one without the sword lv3, that's why i always killed ganon without the cross and a lot of luck.

Your advice worked wonders... I ran to the corner and started firing off arrows at anything that moved and I got the digdogger fairly quickly.

I got through the wizzrobe rooms in one try.. I just did it very carefully... a.k.a pausing everytime one appeared, and bombing it. The magic sword wasn't really needed, it's the 24 bombs that really saved me.

Now it's time for the B-Button dungeon... it's a shame I can't use that shiny new sword I just got O_o.

Yeah, you can't use the shiny sword, but you can use the really fast bow with the silver arrow. However, for some rooms a red candle is better, believe it or not... And use the advice about the like-like.

That like-like room was ridiculous! I knew what to do as soon as I went in there... but actually getting in one and facing the right direction was hard. That section took many tries.

Here's my thoughts on the B-Button Pyramid. I loved this dungeon. Most quests use the Magic rule, or they give the wand after the Magic Sword, so you hardly get to really use it. The second half of this dungeon lets you appreciate all that the wand can do. I think the whole quest in general brings out the full abilities of all the items... since EVERY one is importangt to survive.

I actually completed the Forest Restaurant too yesterday. Getting that boomerang was one of the most frustrating parts of the quest so far. I can't beat the Death Knight though... My tactics so far are to constantly get hit by the bubbles and hurt the boss during the invincibility.
