Testing out a new subscreen, water tiles, grass tiles, tree trunks, treetops, .. and I think thats it. I have done alot of graphical adjustments so thats why I still haven't gotten around to fixing the subscreen sprites. I'll probably get to that next.
Theryan: I really like this shot. Its classic yet very different from most classic screens I've seen. Nice job.

I must say, those treetops look so realistic when combined with everything else on the screen. I think it looks fantastic. I've always been a fan of your work back then.

Just...wow. Amazing job. All the tiles fit so well together. But, why isn't the grass the same under the fences and other tiles?

Haha.. Its actually the palette if anything that has given you that feeling. If you would have seen what the palette originally looked like before I made some adjustments to it.. I'll try to find a screenshot around.
Thanks, Dawnlight. I was kinda aiming for a more realistic look from what I was previously working with.
Thanks. I was being lazy, really. I also wanted to know what people thought of the grass tiles first before I went ahead and changed all of my tiles.

Great screen and great tiles, apart from the forest brush. I've never liked the way you've inversely coloured it, and its LttP graphic style clashes with the 'realism' of the other tiles.
I agree, the forest brush are horrible.. Only reason i didn't bother changing it before the shot was because I've been working on something new. I recently finished and was going to display it another time but since you brought it up, I'll show you a pic:

Jared: Nice, I really like this LttP look you and Shane are going for. My only suggestion would be to try to add a violet-ish color for one of the OW csets, similar to the one LttP had:

Looking for some more critiquing on the design of this screen.

I like it. The one thing I like about the paths is that it can go diagonal without extra tile work.
(All thought one diagonal road is skinny while the other begs differ I like the skinny one more)
EDIT: /M/ we've got a nice purple colour made by Linkus in our overworld palette, we're going to use this for certain things.

Love it. Keep up the good work, let's hope this is one quest/tileset that gets completed!
