Design wise, the screens are fine. But it's too...bland. the brown color is repeated too much, try adding different shades or colors. The open space is fine, however I feel it needs more detail, but not overkill.

In my opinion those stalagmite tiles are not in perspective with the rest of the tiles. It kills the unification.

You don't like MC Caves do you? Well that's okay you can have your likes and dislikes.
I plan on rebuilding them from scratch after receiving feedback.

You can rip them from any cave screenshot from Minish Cap, there are several different versions, just google it.

Keep in mind that the walls, floor, and upper floor each use different color, so you might have to readjust your palettes and edit your tiles to use the correct colors.

I honestly think brown looks more earthy and cave like then these orange walls do. But in my case it's a fire dungeon so orange would probably work out better. Either that or reddish brown. What do you guys think?

You can use whatever colors you want, as long as you use different for the floor, ceiling and walls it will stay more to MC and look much better.


Hint: MC has brown walls as well, not only orange.

Those... look great. Honestly, I don't think there's a single thing about them that I'd change. Except... in the top right screen, on the left where that stone is, if the area to the left is unexplorable, I wouldn't put that there. Don't want to give people false hope that there's more to explore and go insane trying to find it when there's nothing there. Of course, if there is something there, then leave it alone.
