In light of the new JonTron, I went to the local used game place and picked up NARC. For what it's worth, it's actually pretty fun. Interesting, not terribly. But amusing for an excuse to zone out.

Now I can move on to Layton vs Wright... although I'll probably hold off until after I get Smash Bros at this point. I don't wanna wear myself out on the series.

Been playing more MM1 lately. Just got into Bombman's stage. Nothing else to say really, except the fact that I'm enjoying this game ![]()

-X is fun, it's my favourite F-Zero game (GX is not bad, just overrated). The game starts to be challenging at Expert Mode (although most of the time I just either died prematurely at the first race or did it bad at the third), but the X Cup was easy lol. Dropped at Master Mode, I tried it many years ago and was never unable to win even at Mute City 1.
-Starfox 64 was the big surprise. Never liked really this game until now. It still lacks non all-range mode Arwing levels (16 - 2 Landmaster levels - Aquas - 3 all-range mode levels = 10... Starfox SNES has like twice more levels?), it's still a little easy (unless you try to collect all medals), it still lacks something... But so many good levels (Area 6, Venom, Macbeth...). And the dialogue. SF64 is all about the dialogue, is all about doing barrel rolls and helping your friends and the interactions. Without it... well it's a fun game but that's all.
Never tried Assault and Command but I have heard bad things.

The Revenge of Shinobi and Shinobi III. There are very few games in the world, that are so much fun to master as The Revenge of Shinobi (Harcors only) *.* Sadly they destroyed all the balance, music and atmosphere in the sequel ![]()

-Replayed Starfox 64 several times until I became tired of it.
-Rhythm Heaven Fever. Oh god. This, so much. I like everything, and I only thought it was going to be an okaish game. But it's addictive as fuck, the aesthetics are pretty cool, even the usual modern Nintendo tutorials I dislike are fine and funny. I'm gonna play the original Rhythm Heaven after finishing this one, as maybe I would prefer it even more (that happened with the WarioWare series, the Wii game is okay but the original GBA is awesone).

-Replayed F-Zero GX a little. Meh. I prefer X and I'm not in the mood for F-Zero.

Rhythm Heaven DS is the second entry (and it's awesome). The first entry is in GBA.

I got Darksiders II for cheap, so I'm working through that right now to tide me over until Smash Bros. for Wii U comes out. Darksiders II is a pretty generic Action-Adventure game with RPG elements. As a Wii U launch game, it can be buggy at times. That said, I'm enjoying the bleak but well-designed environments along with the ambient music and extensive use of puzzle mechanics. It's like Zelda but with a more mature premise, more RPG elements, more puzzles, and less hand-holding. The battles are fun, but I enjoy the game as a relaxing exploration experience more than anything.

I've been recently playing rayman origins for PC, it is the perfect example of mixing classic and modern elements together. It's so wacky and fast paced I can't help but love it. I agree with nicklegends about darksiders II. The only games I've played that kinda remind me of zelda are skyrim (espeically the dwemer ruins) and kingdoms of Amalur

It's pretty awesome and the game is huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge, it has soooo much stuff to do and the environments are pretty large and detailed and... it's a pretty good game, kinda ridiculous that it's basically being given away for the price of french fries these days but I suppose that's because the company THQ went bankrupt making it and whoever bought the license for the IP is just wanting to make a quick buck with it.I got Darksiders II for cheap, so I'm working through that right now to tide me over until Smash Bros. for Wii U comes out. I dislike the appearance of the NPC's but everything else is fine. When the devs were talking about it basically being Darksiders with a ton more optional content and a ton more large environments to explore and a ton more intricate puzzles etc., they weren't lying lol, they pretty much succeeded in all those areas.

Wrestlemania 2000 for the N64. About to start a giant 32 team King of the Ring event. The catch? All 32 teams are completely random! I have already divided the 32 teams into four "divisions". While this is going on, I will set up an 8-team King of the Ring tournament for each division. Once all divisions have fought, the winners of the North and South Divisions will square off while the ones from the East and West Divisions do the same. The two teams that emerge from those sets victorious will face off in the grand finale where the winning team will be considered the Random Tag Team Champions of 2014.
I think after that, I will do something similar for Single Matches, only each tournament division will be 16 Superstars instead of 8 teams. Anyway, here are the rules I will be using:
===Tag Team Tournament===
- There is no time limit; the match goes on until a team wins.
- Matches may be won by pinfall, submission, TKO or count out.
- If the legal Superstar is out of the ring, a 10 count will start.
- Tag team partners may assist for 10 seconds after a tag is made or a hold is attempted.
- Holds and pins are subject to rope breaks.
===Singles Tournament===
- Once again, no time limit. The match doesn't end until a fall is scored.
- Again, winning can be done by pinfall, submission, TKO or count out.
- To make things more interesting, interference will be allowed
- Holds may be escaped by rope break.
- All falls must be in the ring and Superstars can be counted out if out of it too long.
During the semi-finals and finals, interference will no longer be allowed and it will no longer be possible to get counted out. Additionally, falls will count ANYWHERE at that point.

Oh man, Wrestlemania 2000, back when I was (somewhat) into wrestling. I played the hell out of that game and made so many different customizable characters with their own movesets. The customization in that game was insane. It appealed to me greatly.
