You have everything up to that point.

Indeed. All you have pratically left now is to complete the rest of the Gate of Dreams, and find the Tower of Heavens which both dungeons are completely optionnal but if you do like challenges, then you should definitively try the Tower of Heavens right after the Gate of Dreams.

After defeating the final boss, and obtaining the True Ending that is.

Having real trouble beating final boss, 2nd phase (giant thing with hands). Literally ran out of rupees (was holding 600 in wallet) for slingsahot ammo, idk if ever missed once, and still no signs of the nightmarte ending - hands regenerated 6-7 times. Sword? Hands keep getting out of range, and sword does half damage to them, on par with slingshot. Wand? L1 sword damage! 

Hyper Slingshot? Have fun tryong to beat 12 unfair and overtuned bosses in a row. no checkpoints, with only level 3 sword and red tunic. Keep getting hopelessly murdered by 3rd or 4th one, wasting 120 rupees per attempt. I think hint statue should tell player to find even better sword and tunic with such huge boss stats. Normal Difficulty. 

Dream Gate 2nd run? I still can`t find L4 sword needed to unlock the rosewind thing behind second boss door, still have 1 unused key after gauntlets behind hammer pegs. Same rosewind and hint mural can be found in  Tower Remains, where L1 sword was found.

You need to hit the final boss with the sling shot in the eye 3 times, if your to slow it starts from the beginning. You will know if you are there if it stays still and doesn't attack. You get a new sword after the final boss.

The problem, it becomes invincible after 1st shot. Already tried rapid-firing.  2.55.7

Yeah that happens for a bit until you can hit him again for like 30-60 seconds.

But hands regrow faster, like 8-10 seconds. And eye is invincible until both hands are gone (HP meter is tied to hands).

Edit: Checked using "amongus", It simply loops endlessly on 1st phase. I am hoping it`s not illegal.

You need to kill both hands and then shoots its eye and do this 3 times.

Does not work, tried killing both eyes, still looping without shooting those vertical lasers and increasing danmaku.

As for instant-kill traps at top floor of ToH, what about Increasing damage from 32 to 9999 hearts? To ensure instant death even with all 33 hearts. There is wizard in combo editor to allow this in 2.55 version.
