Oh, I'm going to have to manually make each of mine, or at least the ones from Gen 1 and 2. You see, I used a pair of hacks for Pokemon Red. One allowed me to catch all of the possible Pokemon without having to trade (Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle are both insanely rare, and found in endgame areas to make them more difficult to weaken and catch, since your usual team would be in their mid-50s while they're each at Level 5. Also, trade-only Pokemon or trade-evolutions have in-game trades edited to where you can trade for them. Pokemon stats, however, are untouched, so they're legit Pokemon in that regard. Does not add Mew to the game, though). The other hack recolored the game in the same way that Gen 2 was colored, instead of a different shade of monochrome for each area.
As for Crystal, I got a hack that does the same as in the version of Red that I played, so I can have a fair shot at all of them instead of only certain ones. Where I live, there isn't anybody around that's into video games, especially the ancient versions of Pokemon. I didn't feel like having to do two full playthroughs of each game, so I thought I'd give myself a small concession on that part. However, when I tried opening the games with a tool designed to copy them from Gen 1 to 2 (to prevent myself from having to catch a load of trash Pokemon for trading purposes in Gen 2), it turns out that those hacks edited the game enough that the tools couldn't read them. As a result, I had to manually type in all of their stats into a Word document, and then when I get to Gen 3, I'll have to manually re-create each one and inject them in that way.
On the bright side, if I remember correctly, there's an official method to transfer from GBA to DS. If it's not something I can do, then since I plan on playing a fully-unaltered game of Emerald as my Gen 3 game, any Pokemon-copying tools should be able to read the files.
