I've always hated the Mirror Shield's design and wished we could switch between them like in Ocarina of Time. Mirror Shield's ugly as hell, Hero's Shield looks hella cool.

Thank you!! It looks even cooler in MM3D. Luckily, the Mirror Shield in this game is also more bearable. Thanks, Nintendo!

Nothing's wrong with it, I just think it's ugly. ![]()
I mean, compare it to the likes of Ocarina of Time's and Wind Waker's:

Fairly intricate designs and nice to look at. Meanwhile Majora's Mask's is a creepy face staring you in your own face all the time. I tend to think of Mirror Shields as pretty shields, and I like those two (the crescent moon is better for the OoT one in my opinion, but the redesigned version's nice too) a lot more than Majora's Mask's, especially when the Hero's Shield looks so cool too.
THEN THERE'S THE ONES IN A LINK TO THE PAST AND LINK'S AWAKENING:

SO INTRICATE AND DETAILED AND FKASL;JREAJL
(to be fair the artwork for LA's is quite nice)

So I got Snowhead Temple done, seems like Nintendo just wanted to switch the two fairy rewards around.
But now for my next three days, I'm getting my Gilded Sword, as well as doing the Romani Mask side quest, and just trying to get some heart pieces from muscle memory. xD I want to try to get to Great Bay Temple by tonight or even beat it tonight, but I'm not going to guarantee myself to it. I still got other things the MM3D...right? (All I have is my running to be honest XD)
Anyways, I'm actually enjoying this more than expected. I knew I was going to enjoy it, but not like I am right now. I guess maybe just having the feeling of playing my favorite Zelda game in my own hands just make it awesome. I was introduced to Majora's Mask when I was coming to our town's Middle School (The summer in between), and at the time, I really felt kind of lonely and Majora's Mask made me happy during that time. I guess that's kind of why it is my favorite game, and not just cause it was my first Zelda game. ![]()
Happy to hear other people are enjoying this game as well!
Might as well go ahead and continue my game, heading to the Skutulla house #1 for Mask of Truth. I'm trying to get all masks in my first run! ![]()
EDIT: Sorry for getting off topic...I didn't notice the Mirror Shield conversation. But just to state, I like MM's mirror shield, but Wind Waker's is my favorite. ![]()

I'm heading to do the Snowhead temple later today. I already have the Bunny Hood and a few other masks... probably should have gotten a few more heart pieces, but meh, I'll be able to do this (though I may stop by some places to try and get an extra bottle or two if I remember where they are... but I think you can't get them until after beating snowhead...)

I'm currently taking a break because I started up my World of Warcraft account once again, At the moment I have tons of heart pieces to find. They changed the Stock Pot Inn Room Key sidequest. You have to be Goron Link to ask for your Reservation which makes since because your Termina counterpart is a goron apparently.

You have to be a Goron to get the room key now? That actually makes a lot of sense. Cool!
Am I the only one who simply enjoys running around Termina (Mostly with the Bunny Hood
) just for the fun of it? I haven't had this much fun doing this since Wind Waker, I think. Again, does anyone else do this?

I did it more just for some heart pieces, but yes I actually do sometimes enjoy running around. The detail and how more realistic it looks is phenomenal. I just am so happy the Nintendo did this. xD
I also am at the entrance to Great bay Temple (Inside it, saved at that statue). I got 13 hearts and about 15 or so masks, and I just am loving it. Before I head to Stone Tower, I'll be doing the Anju and Kafei quest, and I am so hype for it! ![]()

I actually just finished the Kafei/Anju sidequest! It was beautiful. Almost teared up! Just gotta do a few more sidequests, and head to get the Zora eggs. I have 12 3/4 hearts, and about 20 masks! ![]()

I only have four masks to go. ... and fairly certain all four of them come from the Anju/Kafei sidequest. Well, six actually, but Giant's Mask is a dungeon item in Stone Tower and the other is Fierce Deity Mask, so yeah.
Nice to see the Well had... a touch of improvement. I never really liked it, but it seemed to be more well-stocked than before (or maybe I just didn't pay attention before), and also it's nice how the Gibdos only want one of each consumable item instead of like ten. I'm not sure how much it was changed, if at all besides that latter thing I pointed out, but I guess I don't really hate it as much as I used to?
Elegy of Emptiness still exists though and that's still no good. You can skip the cutscene when the statue forms though, which is a very small plus.
The crown jewel though... Stone Tower Temple... the jewel you need to shoot to flip it... it's... out in the open... it's... beautiful... I... I was honestly quite relieved at the sight of that. I'm saving the tower and Majora for tomorrow, and afterward I'll work on 100%'ing it before the customary Fierce Deity battle, but so far... Well, the swimming is actually fine in closed areas, just annoying in the open, and even though the ice arrows got horrendously nerfed, the ability to equip more than one arrow type at once is great and the new Gyorg fight is fantastic, so... yeah, so far, I'm continuing to like this way more than the original, minor faults aside; the only things that annoy me are the ice arrow change and that stalactite thing I mentioned earlier where Tatl ruins the "aha" moment. But for the most part, this remake excels. Now to see how the endgame holds up.

I have to wait until Thursday for my copy of Majora's Mask 3D. Sucks so badly. ;-;

Started playing this weekend. Managed to get to Woodfall Temple, so I'm ready to explore it now. Really enjoying the game so far. The Bomber's Notebook isn't nearly as bad as people were making it out to be, at least so far.
