I was bored:

EDIT: Don't mind the brown hair, I was messing around with palettes a little bit.

2nd one's my favorite. Hero likes to crossdress~ Kickin' ass in heels and a dress.

Just a couple things
-The jumping frames. The transition from the first frame and second frame for down, and second and third frame for up is too abrupt. It's like he does a 180 in the span of a frame.
-The right-facing attack tiles. Instead of just flipping them, you should also edit them so that the avatar's main arm is consistent. AKA, edit the frames such that the avatar is using the correct arm and hand to attack.

They are fine the way they are.

The jumping sprites are easily the hardest sprites in the sheet to make, as they don't even exist. I may fix them later, but there's no guarantee.
As for the 2nd piece of feedback: The thing is, I'm going for an authentic BS style, and doing that would break the authenticity.

Sadly, I don't think I'll have a place to use the spinning animation. ![]()

Maybe the spinning pumpkin enemy(?) can be a Level 2 "on steroids" pumpkin enemy. ![]()
Looks great!

Other variations that have their own unique characteristics and AI come to mind. Jackolantern with flaming techniques, for instance.

These are fantastic. May I use them?

Sure! I'd be delighted if you did.
Nexas: I'm really liking your character sheet. It's always cool to see a new main character.

That's a load of BS, Nexas. Er, I mean he looks good!

Experimented with giving double frames of animation for Hi-Res sprites. I quite like the results~
What's missing from this animation:
-Hair/cheek fur bounciness.
-Tail movement.
-Translucent Shadow.

@Nexas: Love the look of the BS Hero tiles. They look perfect imo
@Aevin: Floating pumpkins ftw. They actually look as if they come from the Summon Night series (the Pumpkeeno guys)
@Koh: Interesting animations going on here, but they look pretty cool and I like them!
