I'll be playing as her and Link and Lana... and Midna... oh wait, now I'm back at square one.

Oh, as far as characters we're actually playing as... well assuming I get the game, Lana looks really fun to play as, but I also love the idea of playing as Zelda since yeah, finally getting to play as the series's namesake. But Impa's cool too, and Agatha's bugs might be fun to play with... basically all the characters look like they could be fun.

I read there's a "98% chance of a new character being revealed this week" on many websites. Fi confirmed.

Midna's trailer looks really awesome.

 

As for playable characters, I'll definitely be playing as Link and Midna.

 

And @Jared, her attacks will most likely be dancing and random calculations and chances. Just think of the possibilities!

There is a 99.9% chance that I will play as Fi.

There is a 97% chance that I dislike Fi as she's a boring character and will proceed to not care that she's playable. Well who knows, maybe she'll be fun, but eh... she was the most disappointing aspect of SS's story, and I can't say I really care that much about her.

I don't even see how Fi could work as a playable character. I suppose we'll find out, if it really is Fi, but part of me's hoping for two other things instead: It's just a Skyward Sword joke and the character's unrelated to Skyward Sword, or it's Groose instead. Needs more Groose.

I hope they don't go with Fi... but chances are, they will. Oh well, I already know and feel there will be an inclusion of characters that I despise just not like.

I... don't know how to feel about this. I know to feel excited about Ghirahim being an enemy character and "why" at bringing back The Imprisoned, but still, I dunno how Fi as a playable character will even work. I'm sure they'll come up with something but I also think they could instead start picking characters from other games. Unless it's Groose, he gets a pass.

I feel they might not reveal everyone as a playable character, but still make those characters playable as well.

Valga. Wizzro is possibly male. At least I think those two are playable. And if Ghirahim is, that's three. All besides Link of course. Though if you're asking for more playable male heroes... then yeah, that'd be nice.

I think Hyrule Warriors is too busy making up for the fact that we all had no option but to play as a guy in the Zelda series for the past 27 years.

During the Nintendo Treehouse Live stream, one of the guys said that around half of the playable characters were female, so I think that confirms some Male characters coming.

 

Anyhow, can't say I'm surprised with this. We had enemies from Skyward Sword shown in the first demo, so I felt it was obvious we'd get some other stuff from SS. I'd expect some OoT and MM stuff as I believe there was a Goron shown that was based on OoT/MM's design. Probably some Wind Waker stuff in as well.

 

As for Fi, Ghirahim and The Imprisoned being in: Eh, never liked any of them from SS.
