I got the letter - has like gears on it - when potion bottles are used, it appears in that subscreen spot. Now - WHERE EXACTLY DO YOU BUY DYNAMITE SUPERBOMBS ?
There's a shop in OUTCAST PEAK.
Is the hookshot somewhere outside the dungeon? I've checked every key spot marked on the Jellyca Castle map I can get to and I've gotten all the keys, but I still need one...
My memory of Jellyca Castle is hazy. Rafting back and forth was so frustrating. I do remember 'though that the hookshot is INSIDE. Wish I could point you to the exact location, sorry...

YES. From Homesick, to Aria Spot. From shore in Aria Spot, went up the ladder and started that series of talks with NPCs. I picked up a heart piece North, then I came down, fought the Moblins?, then down, talked to the Simple Man, and Poooff! Stuck in that left side surrounded as described. Can't do anything, except the ocarina, which takes me somewhere else.
Been working on this for 2 days. I simply can't figure out what to do.
Hm could you please show a screen where you are stuck?
its easier for me to explain if i see the problem!

Hm could you please show a screen where you are stuck?
Now, you got me here...
Will try to figure out on how to do this, but It seems like it's the END for me on this quest. That's really too bad 'cause I was looking forward to finding more and completing this amazing quest.
Great job, on testing this, judasrising... The biggest turn offs for me on quests are bugs and lack of support. You've been magnificent so far. Thanks..

Haven't you opened the dungeon doors by playing the ocarina on the most northeast corner? I thought you said you already did... 0_O
To post a screen, use the IMG tags around the url, like {img}someurl.com/coolpic.tif{/img}, just with tag brackets instead of { }.
Pokemonmaster64:
The hookshot is around the southeast corner of B1. You need to get down to B1 at the west part of F1 so that you can walk on the southmost lane (the non-raft walkway in the south side of the big raft maze room). About 3 lock blocks are there, after unlocking the last one, you just need to keep walking right, then it will be obvious from there, but not expected.
I don't know what rooms you have been already, maybe you don't know yet that crystal switches aren't to be shot with magic in this dungeon, rather ahot with arrow and bombed? The north part requires frequent alternating between B1 and F1 to get the west key under water and the east key that is behind lowerable blocks in a horseshoe shaped room with a moving trap.
chiefbigcalf:
Exile, middle. Venom Bullet's palace. Go left and up from entrance. There must be some of those shops in the restored isles, too.
Some more words:
-I like raft mazes, so there will be in any other quests I make, but I guess I will have them to be more obvious than this.
-I liked this very hidden letter idea, but I guess I will provide more opportunities to get it in the future...
-Somebody said that this is my best quest so far... well, I still think it's Shadow Wars II. It's the most well put together one, totally balanced with all HCPs, hidden money, secret items, shops and dungeon entrances organized perfectly. I could achieve this because it's a Classic quest, I could easily move things around. If I did the same with a story type DoR quest, that would have meant at least 6 months longer production time. That's why I plan BBIV in detail so much in advance, so I won't even need that much moving around.
Some trivia:
-"Jellyca Castle"'s name came from the custom font name "Jellyca Castle's queen". I liked it so much, and then I seen the jelly castle in Banjo-Tooie and so liked this name even better. So I finally used it here. And how fitting. This is the dungeon of all Faith and no magic. Just as the "Jellyca Castle's queen" font's maker referenced religions in the font's sample text.
-Aria Spot comes from the Ellivenia story I'm making in head. That's why you see its main character (the girl in the monsters and Simple Man scene) there. Aria Spot was originally planned to be a very tiny island that becomes a love retreat for some, then I planned it to be a simple island that is destoryed by a falling fortress as part of a dark plot (this idea was later used for L7). And finally it became initial home for a character, temporary retreat for other, and the headquarters of the Power of Virtue in general.

Here's two images showing both floors with the map marked to indicate which rooms I've checked (I changed the blue dots to black ones). I'm not sure if there's a way around the block in the first shot without the hookshot. I think the key to the right and up from it might be the one I need to get the hookshot.

You need the hookshot for that first screen. You need to go there twice later, but you don't have anything there for you for now.
So, you need to go west from the entrance on the ledge, shoot the crystal with the arrow, go up and into the stairs, then down and all the way right. This consumes 3 keys.
If you still miss one, seeing you visited all available blue spots, the remaining one must be the one obscured on the map: water is marked blue, too and one key is under water. See the northwest corner of the big rooms? Look at one door to the east. There you need to alternate between B1/F1. First go down and push the sponge combo away next to the pit, so that you can shoot wand magic at the target which enables you to go norther and eventually wind up on F1, draining the water from the upper room. Maybe you don't even see the key while the water is there there. So then walk back to F1 the normal way (going into the room from south) and you have the key. I hope this is the one.
chiefbigcalf:
You can actually go to the east already (just remember, kill all patras instead of trying to just walk through the screens). Go south on the huge ramp and step on something (a button or such) to have the north end unblocked. You get some key item or such there. If I remember correctly what it is, then it is bound to solve your key problems.

Is this the room you were talking about? Because this key WAS marked on the map and I did check it off. See why it's a good idea to have cheats available? Now I'm going to have to give up. (I think the problem was that I used a key in the wrong spot and got to the boss early when you expected me to use it to reach the hookshot)

There was a dungeon where you could have used your keys to get to the boss before getting a dungeon item....I know, I did it...that is why making copies of game after important sequences....I think Pokenmonster did the same key sequence ( I was going to post a comment...regrettably, I should have back then).
So that pretty much confirms that I've encountered a game breaking bug that the testers overlooked...
Well I'm certainly not replaying to this point.
