You're banned because comparing Gurren Lagann to MLP is like trying to mix oil and water. You just can't compare them, because they fit into niches that have completely different criteria defining "awesomeness". Gurren Lagann is better at being anime than MLP because it has giant robots and anger-filled rants at the antagonists, and the fighting is just insanely cool. But MLP is better than Gurren Lagann at being an American cartoon because it has witty humor and tons of culture references, and teaches life lessons which, let's face it, many people into their 50s have yet to learn.

And before you try to counter that by insinuating that I don't think Gurren Lagann is funny, stop. You know what I meant. I love giant robot anime, and no giant robot anime is complete without quality humor, or at least comic relief (in the case of Evangelion and Code Geass).

Now can we quit this stupid show war? It's getting on my nerves and we don't need a repeat of the last incident. PG, there's a difference between liking a show and shoving it in everyone's faces. You're doing the latter. And it's becoming incredibly unoriginal. At least some of our posts have nothing to do with Gurren Lagann.
