Yeah, I think that's exactly what it is. You'll have plenty of warning, but if for some reason you can't get out of the way... you'll be icon_toast.gif.

Why don't they just bring back Lugia, then?

He's my favorite legendary pokemon.

Donkey Kong? It's highly recommended that you don't try to suicide someone. It has literally never worked on me, and nobody who's at all serious has tried any sort of suicide on me. They edge-hog. They edge-hog because they know exactly what everyone else can do to get back up. o_o I'm sure you do as well. It's just that they have most of a decade's worth of experience under their belt, and have seen everything under the sun and beyond.

If you've suicided someone as Donkey Kong or as Kirby, it's actually nothing special. Pat yourself on the back, sure, but compare who you were facing versus who you'll ultimately face. Now if you suicided someone as Mewtwo, THAT'S a nice achievement. Not too difficult to do either.

O_o Suiciding with DK usually works for me, and I don't die myself. It's not really a suicide move. And if they try to get back up, I headbutt them which sends them flying into the bottomless pit icon_razz.gif

I wonder who you're playing against then. O.o' As Samus, I usually get back on my feet before DK does. I'd like to see that.

Suiciding doesn't always work and you can't do all the time throughout the same match. Its risky as well. And as ShadowTiger said, I'm usually back to the stage before DK.

Bah! I don't need to suicide for KOs. I'll do the classic method of getting in a bunch of hits, then nailing with a smash attack. If that doesn't quite do all the way, AERIAL DROP KICK WITH FALCO! icon_twisted.gif I love using combos!

I'm interested in fighting ST as Samus... though I'd probably lose icon_heh.gif I haven't found my best character yet icon_unsettled.gif I'm looking towards Jigglypuff, right now, though. I've won most of the event matches that let you select a character by using Jigglypuff.

well, Today it looks like we've got the official way of getting zero-suit samus. and, of course, Samus' final smash. Which looks remarkably similar to Mario's Fireball.

I just now read it. I am greatly saddened by this. icon_unsettled.gif

Oh well... I'll deal. We have to. icon_shrug.gif

EDIT: ... I reread this. Kinda funny.

Now it’s time for Zero Suit Samus to show what she can do.

It looks like you can throw the pieces of her suit that end up on the ground.
"You think I'm defenseless now? Wait 'till you see what I can do without my suit!"

"Hey, oww!"

"Heheh. Score."

I would've rather have had them be separate characters, cuz I would've wanted to keep playing as Samus. And what if you want Zero Suit Samus and you can't grab one of those Smash Balls during the fight? icon_unsettled.gif

I see that the rumored Zero Suit method has been confirmed to be true. It's a bit disappointing, though. It sounds like she has no way to revert to her normal form, either. I know that there will be Samus fanboys who would be like "NINTENDO BLOWS!" from seeing that, but maybe Zero Suit Samus would still be a good character. Of course, some of us would like to play as Zero Suit Samus from the beginning of the match. All I can say is wait around for a Final Smash to come around and use it. All I can say is either don't touch the Final Smashes or learn how to use Zero Suit Samus effectively. At least the Screw Attack (although still unconfirmed) may still be around as an item. That's one ability that will stay, although weaker. It's a risky move that Nintendo made, but at least there's a way around losing Zero Suit Samus (and that would be by removing the Final Smashes via Item Switch (although still not sure if the Final Smash will be one of the selectable items)).

Animus, you kinda repeated what I just said in a longer and more professional form. icon_xd.gif

Though you're right, but then again, what would Zero Suit Samus's Final Smash be?

I was thinking about that over a plate of microwaved lasagna. icon_lol.gif

But I think all characters are only given one Final Smash per match, right? Giving Zero Suit Samus a Final Smash, even if it means regaining her original form (which is just a thought of mine), would make her a broken character out of the fact that she'll be able to use two or possibly more Final Smashes (from alternating between Samus and Zero Suit Samus, if regaining her original form was the result of a Zero Suit Samus Final Smash). I somewhat think Zero Suit Samus may not be equipped with a Final Smash, though she will have some unique attacks of her own (Shiek comes to my mind, sometimes).

The Final Smash is a secret skill that can be performed but once

Now I see it. Well, that pretty much sucks. I'm guessing you can't pick them up more than once then. But what happens if you pick up a second one?

Yeah, I guess Zero Suit Samus wouldn't have one, then. But does Samus's final smash remind you of Metroid Prime's Phazon Beam at all? (lol I almost put "Bean")
