Old chest was better. ): It had actual depth and the shading was really nice.
You know, you don't always have to listen to criticism. Sometimes it's nice to have a little artistic integrity.

Two more overworld palettes. Three (or maybe four depending on things) more to go.
Edit: Regarding the chest, I'm not sure myself. I liked the old one and I might bring it back. Right now, I wanna focus on the palettes cause there's quite a lot. Roughly around 35 in total.

Made the hint tiles to be alternating randomly flashing small stars, as you can see at the top of the screen there, rather than having the massive amount of stars like in my previous post. I think it'll be more subtle and less hand-holdey, especially when I use them in different and new places other than in this level.
I also started making new flame sprites for my Candle that will be available. I could have just copied and recoloured existing flame sprites (i don't like the small one that is currently used by this tileset) but I decided that it'd be good for me to start making my own original graphics rather than just relying on modifying existing ones incase I come across some situations where there is no tile to modify and I need to make my own.

I've been making more steady progress in "The Legend of Amy Rose 3". I finally managed to complete the whole intro of the quest including the 2 Maku Paths, intro cutscenes, parts of Lynna City/Village, ground floor of the Black Tower (in the past) and a bit more.
Next up, I plan to make the ground floor of the Black Tower in the present, as well as begin the path to Level 1.

Not technically ZC/ZQuest related, but I'm up to 116 map templates intended for use by dungeons and interiors. Mostly inspired by the Randomizer series. Tonight I hope to get to level 3 of AQR.
Map Templates:

They're free to use. So if anyone is looking for possible dungeon map shapes, here you go. This time, there are 116 maps to pick from. I added a few new Greek letters, a few numbers and various other shapes. Also fixed Hexagon to actually look like a hexagon, not another octagon.
EDIT: Outside of level 3:

Eddy, you work really quickly! In any case, I'm glad that you are making some really good progress! ![]()
Also, RedmageAdam, those templates are looking pretty incredible! As does the outside of your Level 3.

Dang Adam, those templates are pretty amazing! I also like the entrance to Level 3 too, pretty neat stuff.
As for myself, I began work on the ground floor of the Black Tower in the present (where it's a museum). It's turning up pretty nicely.

Well I made some small progress today. Two new palettes.
I need to make one more palette, make some adjustments to existing ones, and I'll be making the overworld. ![]()

Don't worry, Avataro, taking a break can be good sometimes. ![]()
As for your new project, I'm going to be looking forward to that.

I didn't make any progress on any of my projects lately, but I hope to get back on them sometime. I've started collecting sprites and ideas for a new project.
Don't worry. I am on the same boat despite how much progress I sound like I am doing.

Not a problem at all, I'm looking forward to that new project of yours though ![]()
As for Amy Rose 3, I have began working on Level 1. Hopefully I'll be able to finish this today.

Thank you guys for your encouragement. ![]()
This new project will be on the shorter side and I hope people will enjoy it.

Knowing you I wouldn't be too surprised if you meant the whole quest.
Today, or rather yesterday, I finished up writing a rather ambitious script. Mostly. There's still one little bug I need to get to the bottom of...
