Shameless self-promotion incoming:

If you hate/detest/dislike Cupcakes, and enjoyed My Little Dashie, I suggest you read my fanfic, "Pretty in Pink" if you have not done so already. It's very short and has recieved plenty of positive reviews on EquestriaDaily for its display of the coping process, as well as its insight into Pinkie Pie's character and her motivations. Not to mention it's a hardcore tearjerker.

Arrgh, why must you taunt me with that? I want to read it but I can't. icon_frown.gif Damn you, family, why do you insist on never all leaving this house at the same time?! Uggh. Good to know that it's short, though, I won't need much time to read it.

Pretty in Pink was pretty good, sure. Short and sweet. It was so short that I might feel that it deserves even more attention to activities between them and Pinkie Pie, however absent or not. It can be fleshed out more. The general concept has certainly been reached. I felt like it could have drawn on just a little bit more. I didn't cry just yet, but again, I could definitely appreciate the spirit in which it was offered.

A little more interaction between Pinkie Pie and Twilight would have been nice, and perhaps slightly more elaboration near the end (not cause or anything like that, but more how her friends vicariously experienced her death). It was well written though, and if there were any spelling, grammatical, or punctuational mistakes I did not notice them.

Tell us if you write more. icon_smile.gif

Come on, Banjo. Get over it. Tell some people. I've only mentioned it to my roommate (in person), but most of my friends back at home know I like the show. Most people are pretty cool about it. If anyone calls you gay for liking a girls' show, call them retarded for not understanding the definition of "gay."

Yeah, really. I thought it was weird before, but now it is simply another thing that builds up my personality, and it is not emasculating. In fact, it is less emasculating to feel no fear of this than it is to hide a part of yourself. But share it even if you do feel the fear; surmounting fears is another show of masculinity, or courage in general.

No no no, you got me all wrong. It's not because I'll be crying to an MLP fanfic that I don't want to read when there's someone around; it's because I will be crying to an MLP fanfic. Trust me, with my family, you don't want to seen crying, you'll never hear the end of it. I don't give a damn if they find out I'm a brony. They're bound to find out eventually, especially my brother. What I don't want them to find out is that I will be crying. I know it sounds kinda bass-ackwards, but that's just the way it is. I would take your advice and tell some people, if I saw reason to. There's no real reason for my family to know, and telling my friends would most likely result in more bad happening than good.

Well, you never truly know until it happens. But really, you know the people in your life better than any of us, so do what you want at your own discretion. But know this: It is f***ing liberating to get it out; I can now watch MLP whenever I f***ing want, no matter who is there.

EDIT:

Just say that it's about friendship and therefore they wouldn't understand.

Looks like he smashed his head through an old-school TV set or somethin'

Rewatching all of the episodes. On episode #9 right now, which is, ironically, the first episode I've ever seen.

Silly Scots. Afraid of crying. Real men aren't afraid of crying. I'm just not much of a cryer, I guess.

Also, check out beta 1 of Dr. Ponies in that thread.

So I've been lost in my own little world listening to this song, which I've linked to in the#Ponyville chatroom (which I now have in my sig) but figured I'd share it here in case anyone else hasn't or missed it. The Original is called "Want It Need It" by Jeffthestrider.

I personally prefer the cover version done by Miu though...

In other news, I changed my avatar... to this. Cause Scootaloo liked this one better than the other two I showed as a choice... cause Scootaloo is my favorite and apparently likes to sit on my head.

Dear Princess DashSim,
Why won't you return my calls?
Your friend, Fluttershy.

Haha, holy hell, that was brilliant. I genuinely burst out laughing there.

You say that as if it's surprising. icon_deformed.gif But anyway, it's not that I'm afraid of crying, it's that my brother and my father would constantly mock me for it, and my mother would constantly pester me with questions and make stupid assumptions. My family is kind of annoying, in that sense.
