Spoiler
Also, this is the first time I watched an episode in HD. Oh god, why didn't I do this sooner?!

Now when is the next Fluttershy episode? *waits patiently*

Yeah, seriously, there hasn't been a single one in Season 2. And seeing as how there's only 8 plot-unknown episodes left, I have a feeling I'm going to be disappointed.

I almost cried during My Little Dashie; the corners of my eyes were wet. The entire way through all I could think is: "This is so sad, but only a diehard brony would truly understand..."

On the new episode: Indiana Pony. That is all.

Well that can't be a good sign for me, that happens to me all the time. And for no good reason. The more I hear about this fanfic, the more I think I should get my house flood-proofed before reading it.

Yeah, My Little Dashie was pretty difficult to stand if you are heavily affected by emotions and implications of loss.

It affected me for the remainder of the evening.

Well, I would have cried, but it takes a lot to make me do so. That being said, I felt sad until about one in the morning.

I am a bit sick of these character-specific episodes... I like them and all, but I miss the episodes that incorporated all of the mane six as primary characters.

Me too, a little. I mean it's nice to get to know them all a bit better, but I feel as if all of them have been characterized wonderfully so far. I'm really up for anything, as long as it doesn't become less interesting or funny.

I'm about to rewatch the first two episodes of Season 1, just for fun.

I think what you meant was "It's nice to get to know Rainbow Dash and Applejack a bit better." icon_razz.gif

But yeah, if they are to continue the character-specific episodes, which it looks like they will, I would like a Fluttershy episode. I feel that she has been somewhat neglected.

I dunno if I'm the odd one out, but I thought this episode was... poorly put together. It just felt rushed and didn't flow all that well.

There wasn't really enough to need to put together. At least half of it was the part in the book, and half of the rest was spent trying to get back into it. Not too much to assemble there.

Well, to be blunt then, I thought the episode kind of sucked.

Yeah.

I get why they did it, but it also felt a little pathetic how Daring-Do was simply a recoloured Rainbow Dash. Her voice acting was somewhat awkward too, especially her initial sigh-thing that was clearly a last minute removal of actual lines.

That being said, I still enjoyed it. I mean, believe it or not, I was asked out by the girl who lives in my apartment building while I was in the middle of watching it, and told the girl that I would be busy for the next half-hour. Basically, ponies > girls. Oh, wow, I only now realize how silly that is. But meh, we walked on the beach for three hours, so I feel justified.

You're 16. Girls don't need to be that high of priority.

^ This is coming from a comp-sci/pre-animation major, so take it with a grain of salt.

Random Thoughts on the Episode

EDIT: Oh wait, it looks like Episode 19 will be a Fluttershy episode

Seventeen now. icon_razz.gif But yeah, girls should never take a higher priority than animated ponies. icon_deformed.gif

It does make sense why they made Daring-Do a recoloured Rainbow Dash, but it still felt somewhat lazy to me. I suppose I would have liked at least a slight difference, the bandaged wing alone was really a good enough connection.
