That thing is being worked on again? Although I never did comment on it, I really liked where you were going with it all.
As for the palm tree, I feel that the light on it seems a bit different from the other plants. I think you can get a bit away from the style you have now and get some more shading on the other palm leaves while still keeping in the style you have now. What I do like about it, though, is the shape of it; it's really nice, and I'd like to see that kept through what changes you do to it.

How does it look? (Yes the house tiles next to the house are supposed to be there, that's the part of the house that branches off) I haven't added flowers yet because I want to make them layer so I can have the SD3 grass under them without making four sets of each.

Wow, that looks really, really nice. I don't usually post in here anymore, but that screenshot certainly caught my eye. The house tiles actually perfectly match the trees and road tiles. Design is simple but nice, almost crisp. The detail is superb. Keep up the good work!

I like it, in addition to the tileset in general. As Yoshimi said, I'd suggest a bit more of the light green, but I still think it looks good as it is.

@William: Thanks! I have been trying to make those house tiles as flexible as possible so I can variate the shape. I'm very glad that you like it! icon_smile.gif

@Adem: Thank you very much! Those Link sprites are a placeholder. I am waiting to see if koh will finish the Why Not Link sprite sheet.

Thanks Angeal! This is one of the reasons why I restarted. My old design style flooded the old version and it was becoming a pain to make everything look ok. This is what happens when you take criticism, good and bad, and apply it to yourself to improve. I would like to thank everyone who has ever critiqued my work. You all have helped me improve soo much!

Yeah, sometimes it is the best, and easiest idea to just restart with a fresh slate, and I can understand your reasoning for doing so also. It really does look great, and I love giving my input on peoples works when they want it, that is. icon_lol.gif

Nice, but there is a tile error above the torch on the left side of the screen.

Also, maybe cut down on the pillars a bit?

I made the ground dark, fixed the error, and got rid of two pillars.
I think it looks a lot better!
