Why are you saying sorry, I practically set you up for it. icon_smile.gif Anyway, eh, that's close enough to being English for me to not give a damn. I don't actually hate the English, I just don't give a damn about English history and stuff like that.

Understandable. Most of my ancestors were Scottish, on both sides of my family, but I like to learn of all history (well, all the interesting history at least). Not that I would really call King Arthur history, it is more of a twisted and convoluted myth.

In other news, one of my old friends is coming over for a few hours tomorrow. I am going to surprise him with a sneak-conversion. I know he would never watch MLP if I told him prior, but my hopes are high for not telling him exactly what it is until after.

So I just found this.

Very impressed, looks pretty awesome so far. Looking forward to seeing more of it.

It looks pretty awesome. The physics remind me of South Park Rally, which was a good game in its own right, but, eh, it was not the physics that made it a good game. icon_razz.gif

I do hope that they put more of interest on the tracks, though.

It seems that the MLP fanbase is pretty good at making games of quality.

This seems like the place to post videos. I showed this already in our pony chat room but I figured I'd share it here too in case anyone hasn't seen it. It's probably old, I didn't check (I like my rock).

My Little Pony is truly an inspiration to writers, animators, and game designers everywhere.

PonyKart looks pretty cool.

The Derpy vid is great. icon_biggrin.gif

I drew ponified pictures of two of my friends. Perhaps I will upload them.

EDIT:
Step One: Go to Google Maps.
Step Two: Search "Equestrian Village, Madison, OH, USA".
Step Three: Zoom In
Step Four: See Appleoosa.

I also only now realized that Appleoosa is a double-pun.

So I showed my friend that picture I drew of him as a pony... THE REACTION WAS AMAZING:

Me: I drew you and your brother as ponies.
Him: What? ponies?
Me: Yeah. [Shows him picture
Him: Dude, this is awesome!
Me: Really? Wait, what? you like ponies?
Him: Yeah; I like ponies!
Me: My Little Ponies?
Him: You mean like the pony-dolls for little girls?
Me: No; I mean the TV-show.
Him: Are these the main characters? [Looks at the reference-picture I have on my desk
Me: Yeah; they are.
Him: I could totally watch that.

And so we went and watched pony videos on Youtube for the next hour.

Here is the picture I drew. Yes; his cutie mark is a piece of pie--it was specifically requested--and a spatula was the runner-up.

That's awesome. My roommate knows I like the show, but I haven't bothered to tell my parents. They'd probably be cool about it and playfully mock me for it (especially my dad), which is fine, but there's really no reasonable opportunity.

I really just told my roommate because I'm sick of watching episodes with headphones. icon_biggrin.gif
He seems to like the show, though.

To be honest, I see no reason to tell people that you're a brony unless either they are too, or not telling them hinders you in some way. Course, that's probably just because everyone I know would probably be an ass about it and mock me. Maybe. I have no idea how they'd react, I'm just guessing and probably being very pessimistic.

Everyone knows that I am a brony. Difficulty to get friends? almost zero (actually, it increased how much people like me; my friends and I constantly try to one-up eachother, so they saw this as an instantly gained point for themselves--if all goes as planned, they will soon see otherwise, one at a time...). Difficulty to get a girlfriend? probably over nine-thousand or more, I cannot say.

EDIT: So, I found this on my Facebook wall:
"Dear Geoffrey,
I have happened to notice that you havn't been at school for quite some time because of this drastic measures will and have be taken as the digital art classroom is not loud enough anymore. If you wish to live and the safety of the hostage Twilight Sparkle to continue please come to school on tuesday OUR ELSE!"

Poorly worded, but I got a laugh out of it. Apparently my absence was noticed.

EDIT2: This is what I do at two in the morning: I draw.

I don't care how this affects my chances of getting a girlfriend, they were practically already at 0 anyway. icon_deformed.gif Also, those are some pretty good drawings. Her heard looks kinda weird in the left one, though. She doesn't seem to have a snout. (Is that the right word? Doesn't sound right.) Might just be the angle.

This. This typo is a pun. It makes me happy.

But yeah; it is the angle. I did not proportion the right eye correctly, so it throws the entire perspective off somewhat.

Oh god, I just accidentally made a bad pun on something barely relevant. Must...resist...urge to...strangle...self...
