Subscreens are rather hard to work with. I don't have much experience with them so I can't help you much.

Did a lot of cosmetic cleaning up this weekend. Did some more play testing to find out what ideas of mine actually work and what does not. Decided arena 4 is way too difficult and did some nerfing. Added some bullet bill FFCs to my Pipe Level. Made some enemies that fit the theme of World 6. Level 6 is almost ready for testing. I'm so excited!

fixed the layer errors I could find, and some mismatched walkability between screens. added a small graveyard, and the community to the south is in flux. This was from the past night, hopefully I can get some more time tonight.

Hello everybody!
I have an announcement to make. Around this time last year, I had taken my very first steps in creating my quest "Mike's Fun House". This journey has been enlightening for me. I've learned so much about zquest and creating games in general and I am looking forward to this year's continued production of "Mike's Fun House".
As of right now, I plan on having nine mini worlds, each with nine levels. My main overworld (that connects everything together) and underworld are about 80-90% done. Currently, level six is near 60-70% done. Production is slow, but each step I take adds that much more to my game.
Everybody's feedback has been very helpful and I always find myself going back to improve on earlier areas. Every time I learn something new on zquest, I find ways to touch up earlier areas. For the people who posted videos on youtube, thank you so much. Watching you guys play has taught me so much about how the general public will react to my quest.
This is the thread that is like a public journal. For those of you who keep up with my progress, thank you for your encouragement.
I can't promise you a quick release, In fact, I don't know when I will complete this quest. I do plan on finishing this quest. When it is completed, I can't promise you that it will be your cup of tea. What I can promise you is this, my quest is creative. If you are looking for an adventure that offers variety, you have come to the right place! Link will be on one of his most bizarre adventures ever. Can you escape Mike's Fun House? Mike is watching you! ![]()
Anyways, I would like to have a QA. I might even make a youtube video, if there are enough questions. No promises on the video, but I will answer your questions.

I didn't do much in ZQuest, itself, but I just finished and released a Heart Container Piece (a.k.a. Heart Piece) Guide for my quest and included it in the .zip file of my newest quest update.
It took a long time to complete! ![]()

What problems are you having with your subscreen?
I need one. I tried to give more room to what is given, for an extra row. but it won't let me get to it. if someone does skype and can do them. we can do a screen share

I finally finished the opening area for SFRIT... Well, mostly, I'm sure it could use a little more fine-tuning. The walls aren't perfect, but for the life of me, I can't seem to fix them.

Assuming I'm understanding the problem correctly, have you checked the items to make sure their positions are properly set up? Simply having an item on the subscreen isn't enough to make it selectable, you need to set its position attributes, so that you can choose the item.

Lineas: I don't really know what I could suggest to improve on other than possibly some wall decorations. Other than that, I think it's pretty nice.

Several things done in Odyssey of Fortune actually:
1) Started to implement a gender selection system into the game, thus requiring me to rename Erick to a unisex name, specifically, Terry.
2) Started working on that the changes between genders (IE: NPC Pronouns.)
3) Worked on a little bit of the overworld.
4) Upgraded the Male sprites to be ore polished.
That's plenty. I'm not even tired yet. D:

Finally completed the overworld portion of the starting town to my quest. Need to do the underground sections (majority of the town is underground due to how cold above ground is) and the houses next.
Also started work on an attempt at Challenge Accepted 65. Arceus, that screen is hard to work with this time.

Finally sat back down to work some more on this.
Your maps look very interesting and have a great design. I definitely think this is the best design with the BS tileset I ever seen. But maybe you can make a couple of tree color variations? Like a few brown ones here and there. I think it would spice it up a little more.
