That was an Ability, not a move.
I...

I don't know how Pokemon works. ;_; It is a shameful secret of mine.

QFT. I listened to the song about 8 times today. Seriously. It's the best pony song ever.

I only now realized that "Equestria" is also a pun: "Equestrian: Of or relating to horse riding."

I am printing this b****: Complete Pony Drawing Guide

/me facepalms.

If you don't recognize a word JUST ASSUME it's a pun. They don't just make up words randomly.

Oh come on, even I got that one when I first heard it.

I took Latin my sophomore year of high school, so that helps with puns and stuff. I knew "equus" meant horse and extrapolated from there.

I knew equus was Latin for horse without even taking Latin. Well, actually, I didn't know that equus was Latin for horse, I just knew that most words that started with equ- were horse-related, and originated from the Latin word for horse. So yeah, that kinda made Equestria a no-brainer for me.

But "canter" + "Camelot" was incomprehensible? You live in Britain, where King Arthur originated. icon_deformed.gif

I love irony, especially since this irony is twofold. icon_razz.gif

Dear Dashsim,
Today I learned that Equestria is also a pun. I probably should have known that as well as the Canterlot pun but I don't ride very many horses. That'd be awkward. I feel like I should be living under a rock, I heard they get good money off of door repairs anyway.

Your friend,
Fluttershy.

P.S. I also learned that I'm not a tree.

Are you sure you're not a tree?

I mean, have you really checked?

P.S. I'm not Celestia why are you writing to me!!

So, when do we stop focusing on the Apple family and give another character an episode, MLP team? What about a frikkin Scootaloo episode already?

Exactly. (I somehow managed to miss this post last time I posted.)

At the time, I had forgotten that "canter" was actually a word. icon_deformed.gif Also, King Arthur was English and therefore, being Scottish, I don't really give a damn about him. A little bit harsh, but true. icon_razz.gif

Don't worry, the next episode isn't about the Apple Family. It's about
Spoiler

FREEEEEEEEEEDOOOOOMMMMMM!!!!!!!

(Sorry; it was irresistible)

King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table are not actually English. Well, their current incarnation is; but prior to that, all of the stories were stories of a Celtic chief and his warriors, which slowly progressed to its current state. Characters such as the French knight Launcelot were later additions. icon_razz.gif

Why are you saying sorry, I practically set you up for it. icon_smile.gif Anyway, eh, that's close enough to being English for me to not give a damn. I don't actually hate the English, I just don't give a damn about English history and stuff like that.
