Why is it a test area? For scripts or for screen design? No need to make a test area of design, cause it's great!
Also, simply wonderful graphics. I'm a little sad it isn't in colour, because it would be so overwhelming in colour... Could you make one shot in colour for funsies?

It's a test area to get the basics of the engine set up to behave properly. Glad you like it
About colour, I'm afraid it won't happen (anytime soon). The very point of Mirror of the Moon is the grayscale retro thing. I will show you guys, however, when I decide to check how it would look in full colour. I just don't want to spend my time on that right now as it would'nt mean any progress for the actual game.

I don't mean you should change the whole game to colours, because I love the idea of having a game fully in grayscale (I loved making a greyscale area myself), but I'm very curious how it would look in colour.

Working on the outside of Hyrule Castle this time, and I need help picking out which looks best. Opinions?

The one in the middle definately. Like the GB/LttP hybrid thing you've got going here.

I got the basic shape off of the DoR Tileset, but didn't want it to look exactly the same. The GBC games didn't quite use a brick texture and it looked fine, so I thought I'd try something similar. I'll see if I can find a good brick texture to put on it, it might help.
Other than the texture, I also wanted to know if the top/bottom borders look better in gray like on the top set, or in white like on the bottom set. I'm kind of leaning towards the white, I don't really want abosolutely everything looking monotone, and I only have so many shades of grey to use.

I'm experimenting with the walls of my dungeons. I kinda like the new dungeon walls for the green dungeon, but I don't like it as much for the brown dungeon. Any opinions on which one looks better would be greatly appreciated!

Also, if I change the dungeon walls to the new way, would it look odd if some dungeons didn't have the new walls?

The new screens are a great improvement! The details that have been added to the tops of the walls look so much better. OLD:

This looks pretty nice Sepulcher! You just playing around with it, or contemplating a quest with it? Just curious.

Just playing around with it. I have gotten the idea to make a quest with it a few times, but it is far too incomplete to even do that. I would need to do a ton of extra work to even get the tiles working and fitting with the rest of the set. I am not looking to hinder Oracle of Awakening's progress. Thanks for the critique Angeal!
