The graphics look amazing, but what interests me at the moment is your subscreen. You made it so you can have 4 active items at once? What are the little letters in the corners for, though. At first I was thinking they were the labels to show what buttons they're for, but then where's "A"?
Thanks for the comments everybody.
I'd comment on your sutff, too, but I'm kind of in a hurry right now =( Sorry =(

Ripping tiles from the Pirated Chinese AlttP NES game.
EDIT: Also I forgot to mention, there are two different mountain palettes I'm trying out here.

I don't know if I hate it or if I love it. Maybe both.
Screen design is very nice.
Second palette is better.

Haha, that was pretty much my sentiment when I saw these tiles at first a long time ago. They are dreadfully beautiful, IMO. I think they work well in ZC. This is also still very early on. Currently, nothing animates, and the palettes are all as is from the images (save for my browner mountains.) I *might* see how these look with colors used in the actual ALttP set, or other tilesets. The brightness does make them look quite old though.

The screen design seems a bit iffy (random hammer posts, lots of solid bits one tile away from the edge of the screen), but it's nothing too horrible, and does a good job of showing off the people.
At the very least, it seems like it'd be a fun set to play around with for a while.
Speaking of old sets, here's some old-school-ish PTUX.

PTUX is turning 7 this year. Realize this.

Very nice, I remember when screens like this didn't have to be super amazing to be considered good.
Also...

I think it looks excellent. It seems like you are developing your own style of building screens. Thank you for not giving trees weird colors. (One thing that disgusts me with Pure)

Yeah, the second one there looks better. It's more cohesive, if that makes sense. Those tiles kinda remind me of the shrunken LTTP tiles and of old 1.90 tilesets, which is cool. There's also a little bit of DoY showing through there, but given that I only played the first bit of that game I can't say I'm certain about that.

Yeah, I agree about the second (original) palette looking better. Also, the area on top of the cliffs would be inaccessible, as it often was in AlttP when drawn like that. I think the mountains could afford to be cleaned up a bit. There are some slight outline inconsistencies, but I probably won't mess with specific edits to tiles until I get all the tiles I want into the set. I have a good amount of overworld tiles. I'm really only missing specific structures, and a few other details. I will probably rip some interiors soon.
Your screen is nice as well. I'm not entirely sure on the shape of the cliff, but the trees have a nice color against the ground, and the ground looks pretty good.
And seven years is a long time. Even DoR's newest release is nearly four years old.

Hmm, personally, I like throwing in random colored trees. I can see where you are coming from. Honestly, I pretty much hate designing a forest with Pure.

I really like the look of it! I like the this... "saturated" palette (if that's how you call it). Would love to see more of this.
