Nope, just beating the main game with only a few sidequests. I only have Spirit Temple left.

Well, I just picked it up myself. Except I have no intentions of playing it because it's a gift for my girlfriend, who has been looking forward to it with an almost unhealthy amount of excitement. So, yay, I guess. The box art's cool at least.

I've been playing it for a small while now. It's sofar quite decent and good, it doesn't have a massive amount of tutorials (there's an optional sign to read in the beginning for those new to learn the basic commands) and the fairy mentions that if she's "figured something out you can click +-> on the D-Pad, but hopefully you'll have figured it out yourself by then". the controls are quite good too, very smooth, though I'd recommend when you get to some water you can jump ontop of with the Deku mask, you should practice the timing for the speed boost spin hops. It took less than 10 seconds for me to find out when it's best to jump across the water to get the added speed, but it's good to know for future parts.
Other than that, gameplay hasn't changed all too much besides being faster and better graphics, though I've only just gotten Link back to his original form...
Needless to say I am quite enjoying it thusfar :)

New Iwata Asks out about this very game: http://iwataasks.nin...ras-mask-3d/0/0

I'm about to start the game, but this was a good read. Mostly. Some parts I raised a few eyebrows at (particularly the "feeling like it was the system's fault" vs. "feeling like it was my own fault" point brought up), but otherwise it's pretty interesting and insightful.

So I have no idea what the conversations have been about, but I just got home with MM3D. I was at my grandparents for an hour with it, got through the first three days, now onto side questing before the swamp! xD

I'm going to say...it's freaking amazing! MM has always been my favorite Zelda game since I first played it, and now on a 3DS...golly slap me with a fish, my life is complete. (Not literally though :P) Anyways, for those who haven't played it yet, I won't try spoiling, but I just think it's SO much better! So excited to see what else there is to offer! :D

Okay, beat Woodfall Temple and did a couple things on the side, then got the bomb bag and triggered the first owl statue in Snowhead before restarting the cycle, warping there, and saving and quitting.

So far so good. Notebook's less annoying than I thought it would be, it could stand to get out of my face a little faster but it mostly acts as a checklist instead of outright telling you stuff, which is nice I suppose. The environments are quite nice looking, and makes the world a lot more living; Woodfall Temple, for example, has a hell of a lot more personality now. The changes so far don't bug me at all, the most reaction I've had is "It was fine before but it doesn't really matter, this works just as well too." Then again, the "worst" comes in when I get to Great Bay, with the swimming and Ice Arrows, and that'll probably be make or break for me. Admittedly, West Clock Town feels a little less alive without the bank there, and his new position is... a little odd, but I guess that spot would be a fairly common crossroads for people traveling across Clock Town, and having that convenience is nice.

The map system especially is quite nice, and the menus are pretty good. I admit, after coming off of OoT3D, I struggled with it because you didn't drag and drop items in OoT3D, you tapped it then the slot you want it to go in, or selected it and pressed the button you wanted. I got confused when that wasn't working in MM3D until I realized it was pulling the superior ALBW item switch method, which is nice. I also like how the item remains in the item menu as well when it's equipped, instead of disappearing until you unequipped it like in OoT3D. Big step up there.

Well, as I said, fine so far. Let's see how it holds up tomorrow...

Oh my god I had a close call with finishing the Great Bay Temple events, by the time I got to the Great Fairy of Courage I had only 20 seconds left on the End of the World timer. Now I gotta fight Gyorg again to do the jumping minigame and then get the Pierre heart pieces. My heart is still racing. Yeah I was that determined to see the rehearsal. Risking all of Termina just to see that beautiful sequence on my 2DS.

Hahaha, nice! That should be fun to exploit xD
Hmm... I wonder if that'll work with the great fairy sword...

Past Snowhead and things are... mostly good. Here's my biggest gripe so far: The room where you're supposed to shoot the stalactites in the original game? That was a fantastic little "aha" moment when you figured out that's how you got through. But in this remake... Tatl actually goes and points them out, removing that bit of discovery. That was fine, why change it?

Goht actually seems more fun than before somehow.

Did the ranch sidequests, upgraded to Gilded Sword, got the Bremen Mask and Bunny Hood... next to tackle is Great Bay. And this is the make-or-break part of the remake...

I'm just getting to the Snowhead area myself. I'll probably do a few side quests to get some upgrades and such before doing this area (such as getting the bunny Hood and other such items or masks)
Also, was the Magic Upgrade always at the Woodfall Temple? I swear it was in the Snowhead area before...
And Odelwa was interesting to fight. I enjoyed it, it took some thought to not just power through with attacking him this time. I do miss his perpetual dancing that he used to do though... it was quite fun before! Hopefully they didn't take Majora's Incarnations chicken dancing away :omg:

It was always at Snowhead, they changed it to Woodfall. I'm guessing if they did change that, they may have changed the other two locations. Don't spoil it if you know, but I think the health upgrade could be at Snowhead, with Great Bay having the sword spin attack upgrade. Anyways, I'm just now trying to get my 8 heart, then I'll be off to Snowhead. :P

Got the Zora Mask and Hookshot, then I headed to Ikana Graveyard for the sidequests. I'm enjoying my time with the Gilded Sword/Hero's Shield, since it doesn't look as good with the Mirror Shield. D:
