Ugh, trying to get the peahat soul/ The ones that shoot fire. What is the drop rate on that thing??

To farm the Firehat soul I recommend going to the cave that lead to the switch opening level 7. There are several of them there and they always respawn. If you farm there you should get one quite quickly.

Just a curious question. I have beaten level 7 and have 9 hearts. Post # 204 show a player working with level 8 and there is 16 hearts. What have I missed ?????????????????

Congrats on getting that far without collecting any of the optional hearts, in that case. You should:

- Go after the heart in L7 that fell down a hole

- Complete the minigames

Hahaha...it looks I have a lot to do  This is my inventory, does it show something about what I have missed ?

I farmed those hats for an hour and didn't get one.

I got Patra's soul easier!

 

 

Also, is Aquamentus or Gleeok in this quest? I also need to grab Digdogger, too...

You must have been extremely unlucky if you farmed them in that place for that long and still didn't get one... but being unlucky can happen.

 

There's a very easy cave to farm Digdogger, it's one of the caves indicated by the cartographer.

Also, should have been an easier place to find Wallmaster and ice gel...

There's an easy room to farm Wallmasters (two screens away from level 2's entrance) and the Ice Gel can be farmed really easily if you know what to do.

 

Remember getting all souls is strictly if you want to 100% the quest, and like the guy told you, you get nothing for finding them all, so this is all optional effort.

Is there a good place to farm the robes Stalfos and Mirrorrobes?

 

I hope there is one, because level 7 ticks me off. At least I got the Bat Wizzrobe...

And, what do I do for the Ice Gel?

What is the rate that enemies drop their souls? Why not make it higher, and actually have getting them all give the player something?

Justin, the rate ranges between 1% and 20% depending on the enemy. And no, I want to keep this strictly optional, it's not part of the main quest, it's just for fun and the player can entirely ignore this feature if he doesn't feel like hunting for souls. I feel getting 100% completion in any game should take time and effort and never be easy or mandatory.
