Daisy always kinda sucked as a character anyway. 

 

Though really it's about time we got her in. And it looks like she'll be a bit like Ice Climbers with two characters attacking and nothing like Peach which will be interesting.

Yeah, probably late 2014. But not too late, as they were announced so long ago.

Also, Rosalina and the Wii Fit Trainer are in it. I don't mind Rosalina so much, but WHY the second one?

I think it's more likely that she uses Lumas as a weapon, not paired like Ice Climbers.  More like Olimar in that sense.  Or... maybe kind of both combined?

Did you watch the video? I clearly see the Luma attacking alongside Rosalina. It's more of a combination of Ice Climbers and Olimar I suppose.

Because Wii Fit is actually really popular?  That's a good reason.  I'm tired of people complaining that she's in, when there are at least fifty other characters you like that you can play as.  Let everyone who wants to enjoy playing as the Wii Fit Trainer enjoy it.

There are five Zelda characters if you count Sheik and Zelda separately and I would expect to see at least one more Zelda character added.

Honestly, I don't really care about trying to make it equal among the franchises. If the character is important to Nintendo, they should have a fair chance in. I feel Rosalina has been in enough games to qualify for it. With the number of Mario games out there, it's no surprise why they have so many characters in this.

 

Of course, this means nothing if Sakurai/whatever team is making them the same number from each. But, I would hope not. Plus, Brawl had a ton of Mario characters if you count Yoshi and Wario.

 

Now if we could only get a Super Smash Kart game...
