Well techincally you never do see her chest (or at least I couldnt find it online), so I think that may be a matter of opipion. I just kinda gave her standard anime chick boobs though. The heights are different because some are standing in front of others, and all but the faces were pretty much based on the image of the village people I had... some are also kinda bent over if you look at the legs as well.

Yeah, yeah, sure. So how come Legato is about the same height as Meryl?
She's like. Really short. icon_razz.gif icon_razz.gif
'Kay, I'll stop. It's still amazing.

^I have two criticisms for you, but you've already heard one of them-- about the hand that's holding the scythe. So that leaves just one. For your 'Witchette', the hips need to be bigger. Women are supposed to have child bearing hips. Everything else looks nice though.

Due to my lack of a scanner, I had to resort to taking digital photos of my notebook. It's a high-quality camera though, so 'tis all good. Here's three random drawings I did in school:

random guy
thing with a scythe
camel?

These are good example of the different drawing styles I deploy. The 'random guy' took the most time to draw. It is made of fine contour lines which give it a really clean look. The second photo, 'thing with a scythe', took the least time. I make drawings very scribbly when I'm just drawing to entertain myself, they don't have very nice shading or detail. The final on is probably my best style. In the 'camel?' drawing, I still used a fair deal of scribbles to make the image, but it's not quite as random. In this, I actually added a decent texture and shading.

I'm a very impatient artist. One thing I don't do well is picking up a drawing to finish it after I had taken a break; if I don't complete something in one sitting, it probably won't get finished. I -do not- use pencil. Ever. All my drawings are in pen from start to finish. If I make a mistake, I either try to hide it or start over.

I'm not obsessed with making my artwork look perfect, so I don't care if you all think it's terrible. Drawing for me is just an enjoyable way to pass time.

Nicely done, Sharon. I do have one criticism for your random guy though. His pose looks kinda stiff. If you wanted to make him look more laid-back, I'd suggest loosening up the elbows a little, make them hang at his sides. Otherwise it's very good.

Niiiice. The Scythe guy reminds me of a redead... perhaps without the mask? It'd be odd, to have such a mournful creature with a giant smile. Good detail and anatomy in the camel thing... the emo kid is pretty gay (I hate emos).

I used to draw in pen alone a lot, especially just doodling in school, but now I pencil base pretty much everything (mainly because I only really draw when I want to draw something GOOD these days). Even this was drawn in pencil first, then I inked over it.

thats pretty nice there noel! Darn I wish I had a scanner Or any way to get my art onto my pc!
well I tell you this I'm way better at drawing in pencil then pen like you. I can draw just in ink but you dont get many shades from a pen. I got some realy sick skulls, spiderman spidergirl pic I've drawn, plus mainy more here and there type drawings. s.d. Im like you when it comes to finishing what i start when I star or I will usally never finish it or it turns out meh.. cause i loose or forget the inspiration for the drawing. but anyways heres something I just through together in like ten minutes in ms paint.

Here's a 5-minute, freehand Samus I did in MSPaint. Just for fun...

EDIT: I forgot to mention, I limited myself to the default palette. That's why the colors kinda' suck. I usually don't edit the palette when I'm just doing quick drawings for fun.
