It's like one of those spot the differences things except with ZC!

hun... duh! It's obvious.
The waterfall is tree tiles wide in one screen and two different holes in the other...

But really, your screen(s) is(are) very nice. The colour selection is fitting, but not outstanding.
Also, the bridge should be over the frozen lake. Under it does not make much sense.

He said it's LIKE a spot the difference thing, he did not actually tell you to spot the difference.

Are those little statues (?) droplets? What's the purpose of the second one? I understand the one with the key, but the second one looks kind of oddly out of place. Anyways, it sure is a screen with a palette swap and minor changes to indicate the seasons have changed. It's rather odd that the shape of the mountain (that hole where the waterfall is coming from) changed, too. Other than that, pretty solid GB stuff.

Yeah, I'm probably going to be fiddling around with the droplet statue positioning more...

The bridge was destroyed when the lake froze. icon_razz.gif

When I saw the waterfall then the keyhole I expected the waterfall would be hiding something epic-looking. But the sight of a regular cave made me die inside. icon_frown.gif

Screen design is nice, but I'm not fond with the brown flowers in winter. And the one big hole that suddenly changes into 2 doesn't make sense.

Yeah.. you can make a new tile to cover that. Something like the same three-tile wide waterfall, but with frozen water with an inverted "v" shape of frozen water, with white on the edges.

But even more important, the flowers are all flipped horizontally! *GASP*

They don't have a good "relationship" with the ground: The bottom of the rock is too flat. It should be curved like a smile to give it depth and make it appear round. As it is it looks more like front-on sidescroller perspective instead of the 45 degree overhead Zelda perspective. The rock casts little - if any - shadow on the sand beneath it. It's also sitting "atop" the sand, whereas a rock in a sandy desert would be "in" the sand - partially buried with sand built up around the edges.

The shading on the top part is a bit of a mess - always keep your light source in mind. The black borders between "sections" of the rock are too harsh for the top of the rock (which is bathed in light). Use a mid brown instead, that gets darker as you progress into more shaded areas. Study the smaller rocks and try to replicate the style on a larger scale.

Not a bad effort though icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks for the advice! I'll see what I can come up with! I tried coloring it so many ways, it certainly isn't easy!

It certainly isn't icon_razz.gif But once you learn a few simple techniques you can churn out some decent looking stuff.

So, this is the kind of puzzle I have thought up for Easter Island Lanayru Bay. Is it intuitively understandable? Eventhough you might not know quite what exactly you'll have to do, do you see where you'll need to interact with the enviroment?

I see what you did there...

I like your screen design, but the tree by link seems a little in the way, though I am not sure if moving it would look very good.

Looks like it'll be interesting. I love your styling and such. I am quite curious about the puzzle here though. Looks nice.

I see, clever...

As for the design, it looks awesome.
