Today I witnessed Joel implement Quick Lasers in his quest... it was magical, and terrifying.
In other news, I'm slowly getting motivation to continue ZQuest and I may resume Hero's Legend 2 soon. To begin with, I'm currently fixed a couple things addressed to me in the expo.

I made some more screens and have been working on a boss, which will be one that will be battled in a side view... assuming I can make it happen right...

I made an entire side scrolling mini-dungeon of 16 screens. It was pretty enjoyable!

I may very well lose a friend tomorrow when he receives his "birthday gift" from me. He knows who he is. And yes, it is ZC related, but due to time constraints, I'm having to improvise a lot. Expect a lot of bad jokes, breaking of the 4th wall, raging, trolling and a few PZC member shout-outs. Oh, and some new midis I found will be used. To whom the recipient of the gift is, watch out

I finally worked a bit on my Princess' Amethyst miniquest. I worked on a large cave system that leads to Level 1 and also fixed a few bugs that I found.

My little secret project to Eddy was a huge success, despite rushing it. I'm happy he recorded it and enjoyed it, memories and all the annoying aspects of my first quest alike. In about 10 minutes, the quest was beaten 100% and he never took any visible damage the entire game, getting hit only twice for 1/4 heart with Blue Ring on. So technically, no damage clear too since despite taking two hits, he never lost enough life to lose his sword beams? Was very short, but at least I did find out a better way to make animated snow that Eddy didn't find too blinding and how to make the text box bigger. Now all I need to do is learn how to move it up some so the string doesn't end up on top of the guys that spawn...also favorite new font is "SS 3", whatever that stands for.
In retrospect, it does feel a bit odd paying tribute to some of the more questionable aspects of previous works and even paying tribute to rather infamous quests. Namely, the infamous "1 Rupee" secret money guys, disguising enemies as items (having an invisible Red Wizzrobe that carries a Blue Potion in level 2 is a major troll), extremely tedious reflecting a wand blast for 30 seconds before it hits its mark and even giving Joelmacool12 a bit of a shout-out with the inappropriate name of the final dungeon similar in vein to the final dungeons of DayDay and DayDay 2. Not to mention that Joel

@RedmageAdam Thanks for making that quest, I really enjoyed it! I had quite a blast and that was very hilarious lol
As for myself, I may finally want to resume to Hero's Legend 2, after making a couple bugfixes here and there. What I'm planning to do now is to start creating Level 3.

I made some interesting shifting tiles that is trying to tempt me into making a desert level for my game despite all the levels being planned out already... bad tile bad! Worst part is that I was trying to make a different tile that didn't turn out right which changed into what I currently have ![]()
