*looks at avatar* Yeah, fair eno-*sees title* DAMMIT, NOT AGAIN! *dies*

Seriously, that's just cringe-worthy. Were you a writer for CSI Miami or something?

It's not my fault you have a general hatred for puns. Also, why would you bring CSI Miamhay into this? Horseracio Caine has nothing to do with this, I think that's something every pony can agree on.

I vote that Derpy be an honorary member of the mane six. Anypony with me?

Eh, fair enough. I wouldn't really say I have a general hatred of puns, some can be quite good, but most puns do make me cringe, espcially pony-related ones, for some reason.

I deliberately used the most cringe-worthy puns in my arsenal, just to make my point. I don't see how anyone with such a strong hatred for puns could ever become a fan of this show in the first place.

Whaddya mean? There aren't that many puns in this show. And most of the ones it does have are actually quite subtle, and well-done. Seriously, took me longer than it should have to realize Canterlot was a pun.

I have a feeling the show is going to start getting A LOT more crap past the radar. I hope that doesn't end up ruining season 3.

(Although it may not be as good anyway with Lauren Faust and Rob Renzetti leaving after season 2 was written)

If it took you any time at all, it took you too long. They're anything but subtle. Although if you had that much trouble noticing Canterlot was a pun, you probably don't pick up on half the puns they use in the show.

Not trying to be a dick, but clearly my previous efforts to get you to lighten up and take it all in stride were ineffective.

You probably don't notice the puns because they're really good puns, written in very naturally. The show only has a few cringe-worthy puns here and there.

While I will admit that I was kind of an idiot with Canterlot and completely forgot what a canter was, I think you're exaggerating a bit there. You also misunderstood what I meant by subtle. What I meant was, well, basically what Beefster said. The pun itself might be obvious, but if you don't get the pun, you won't notice that there was even a pun at all. And I will admit, I often don't pick up on a pun at first. Also, the reason your efforts to get me to lighten up were ineffective were because I already had lightened up. I mean, sure, your puns might have annoyed me a bit at first, but I can't stay mad or annoyed at you for much longer than half a minute. For you to really annoy me would take some serious effort.

Also, something I forgot to mention in my last post, is that I don't have a strong hatred of puns. In fact, my stance on puns is near-identical to my stance on shipping: I don't hate it, most of it is just badly done.

Well, in the spirit of getting past this upset, I feel this is necessary:

Yep, TOTALLY NOT wet-mane Snips. I have no clue what you're talking about.

I corrected your punctuation for you; you had a comma splice, which I fixed with a semicolon. icon_teehee.gif

I find shipping hilarious, but in about the same way that I find the Westboro Baptist Church hilarious. (How could you possibly come up with something this ridiculous?)

I'm also bothered by all the people who think Rainbow Dash is a lesbian. For one: there aren't many stallions on camera so it's hard to tell; two: romance doesn't exist on the show (other than Spike/Rarity and Prince Blueblood); three: you're just stereotyping, silly. It really doesn't matter on a show that passes the Bechdel Test with flying colors. (no pun intended)

LesboDash is actually old news. We're at the point where everypony is a lesbian and OCCASIONALLY a stallion will be worthwhile.

I mean, look at the demographics among stories - Dash isn't even the most popular ship anymore. Octavia x Vinyl Scrach is.

EDIT: Hell, looking at FiMFiction.net, STRAIGHT DASH is more popular than LesboDash right now.
