More playing around with tiles and ripping them for AQII. Maybe I'll finally get off my lazy behind and record that video I promised a week or two ago...? Biggest problem for starting level 6 is I don't know how to go about ripping the tree graphics from The Guardian Legend. That and I'm going to have to get over myself and starting using layering. There are so many things I need to stop being so gungho about NOT doing and get over my scriptaphobia and layerphobia. I was talking to someone and I think he was telling me it's called social anxiety. Regardless, I have a lot to do and I'm thinking about just redoing level 6's map so it doesn't end up a 3 hour long level...
What did you accomplish in ZC today?

So, an LP of my recent quest just finished. I fixed a couple things and changed some things and I'm now going to submit it to the database!

screens, screens and more screens!!! I'm liking how this first part of the second floor is coming along in my level, though i've only done a few screens sofar. Judging by how it's going though, it may be a larger floor than I first anticipated... ahwell, we'll see how it goes. I'll post some screenshots soon of how the second floor is coming soon!

9 screens down, a whole hell of a lot left to go...and this was just supposed to be a somewhat simple lower floor too... At this rate the next dungeon I make will be huge ![]()

Got more progress done with Link's Quest for Portugal. Finishing up Level 1 and then I got a little bit of the overworld to go, and then it's demo time!

Decided to test the level 9 tier enemies and while fighting Darknuts, I knocked one of them back and he learned an ability that I never knew Darknuts had; the ability to walk through a shutter door and hide.
I'm so badass and well-equipped the Darknut is cowering in fear where (he thinks) I can't reach him:

Yeah, apparently I ran into a weird glitch. I didn't know certain enemies could walk through solid combos and get themselves stuck like that. Thank goodness for the Hammer though. Not to mention, what makes Lynels glitch out and able to go through solid combos and what triggers the random double sword throw and sometimes they throw instantly without warning?

Finished floor two in dungeon 3 today... it came out to 42 screens for that floor alone, which made me feel all ![]()
Up next, boss floor! then adding in enemies and other misc things, then play testing, and finally releasing the demo... fun times! :tard:

Last night, I worked in ZQ and bug tested a quest. Today, I bug tested more of said quest. Later, I will do more of the quest, and ZQ!

Getting closer to finishing the first area of my quest: Vila de Sabrosa. After that's done, I'll hopefully get a demo up.

Added in enemies to Level 3, plus added in some new secrets and a shop. Mostly because you'll need to refill some items and it's rather annoying to have to keep going to town to get them! So I had some mercy... though you'll have to find it first ![]()

Did plenty of stuff today! Completed the first area of Link's Quest for Portugal, Vila de Sabrosa, and submitted a demo to my quest project.
I haven't made this much progress in weeks ![]()

Edit : I have named them Dark Faces... Once you see them you should be able to discover how to beat them ![]()

I got the bulk of the first dungeon midi for my quest done, all that is left is the music for the chorus, the instrumental section, and the "vocals". Holy crapbaskets it's a lot of work, though.

I have completed Level 3!
Properly this time, to the point where it is actually playable and beatable! Gah, that was a frustrating few days for a fix, to say the least
... But I figured out how to change certain things to make other things work out good, so all is well in the world again! With a slightly *ahem* longer playtime than I originally wanted... ![]()
But yeah, just one or two more play throughs, which I'll do tomorrow when I wake up, and I'll probably release the demo
(Assuming there are no other major bugs lurking in the game that I find
)
