Level 3 is actually the only level in the game that annoys the heck out of me. I like the cracked floors and stuff, but the puzzles with the combo cycling over the pits are just infuriating. Other than those though, the level was very well designed.

I am probably at fault for level 3. There was a fateful question Peteo asked me one day: "So just how busted up is this castle supposed to be? Are there holes and cracks all across the floor or did a bomb go off inside the castle?"
I said the latter and well...you see what happened.

Haha I remember that discussion. And I remember your first reaction when you played through Level 3 with those disappearing tiles. I had to tone down the difficulty a bit. Level 3 is my least favorite in the game, but I'm still quite satisfied with it. For some reason getting the Royal Melody to work was a real **** but other than that I enjoyed building the level and placing all those disappearing floor puzzles. icon_wink.gif

Finally have gotten around to playing this again (but on RC3 this time) for the past week, as I have been intending. Amazing how much you forget where to go in Level 2. So far I found not a single bug, and I have covered Levels 1 through 3, almost the entire overworld, all six triforce dungeons, and most of the caves.

Yes, I think we worked out all the bugs last month from its conversion to 2.5. So it 'should' work flawlessly from beginning to end on newer versions. Which is a relief.

Cool, did you find anything new about the quest you didn't know about before?

I just played part of the master dome. Were those Windrobes redesigned? They seem harder. Of course I only entered those rooms maybe three or four times so far. Got sent back to the entrance most of those times.

That's nothing I can fix. The windrobes look fine in the enemy editor. So I think the conversion to 2.5 made the windrobes harder for no reason whatsoever.

So.. yeah..... Maybe i'm missing something, but I cannot figure out how to make the screen bigger than a tiny box. Does anyone know how I can make it full screen or at least a bigger box??

Use ZLaunch. You can either set it to fullscreen mode, or use a different screen resolution for windowed (640x480's my favorite; not too big, not too small). Assuming you're using RC3, ZLaunch should come bundled in the folder.

No idea what you are talking about Shane. And if I ignored them, its probably because they were not worth fixing since they didn't break the game or prevent you from completing it.

I got some very important:

- Lv2 Entrance go up and fall down while you at the small "falling" cutsence press and hold down and you skip to Boss cutscene
- When you at the Lv2 Boss Arena while beating the first digdogger. I stood at the north door possibly one tile above the secret flag for the "warp" combo when I defeated it I then went up and I guess I didn't trigger the small cutscene because I was above the "warp" combo and then entered a blank screen and can move to more blank screens.

Bolded words are more information that I added to my old quote. If you feel like these two bugs aren't worthy to fix, I'm fine with it; your call. icon_razz.gif
